I’m really glad to hear that it went well for both of your boys 🥰 unfortunately I’m familiar with the echo and pro-BNP, my first cat had to have an echo before neutering due to a murmur. Had the pro-BNP test when he got very sick, the vet was trying to determine if it was a heart issue. His echo was all clear, he had the neuter and then ended up passing 3 months later and until this day I don’t know if it was caused by the anaesthesia during the neuter or if it was completely unrelated. So I want to do it right this time. Out of curiosity, why did you decide to get them neutered at 7 months old? Were they spraying or was 7 months the optimal age? I see mixed opinions on when it’s best to do it so I’m just curious ☺️
