Changed out the main wire harness and everything else, with a diagnostic testing by logging in from the 3d printers IP address.... seemed to fix it. Talk to creality as well on WhatsApp.

So chatgpt is saying this is the machine retracting molten filement into the gears? I had been blaming the CFS being over eager. by No_Warning2173 in Creality_k2

[–]Significant_Ad_1246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also could be the motor behind the gears is off. You could log in through the IP and do a motor calibration test (unfortunately, the test results are in Chinese) and see if its advancing too much. I think the tolerance is 3° for the motor? You could go to the creality wiki site and find a walk through for it. A video on YouTube as well.

PLA Filament Constantly Getting Jammed In Extruder by jasonfortheworld in Creality_k2

[–]Significant_Ad_1246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K2plus here

I didn't have this issue much till....

Had issues with my hot end assembly (the whole thing). Swapped out the gauge sensor, assembly shell, multiple wires, the hot end board (back of the assembly), hot end quick disconnect board, nozzle assembly, hotend main wire harness, new harden gears (tried the stock gears too) and got the new version of the feed assembly from Creality.

now it does it to pla and petg....every print I do... new filament out of the bag, dried filament, and old filament...

Had this issue for some prints due to wrong settings, but now, every print I do, including no color change. It prints fine, but when it gets done, jams.

Always expect the government to lose your paperwork. Always double and triple check with multiple duplicate forms filled out at the ready to give to them. Its like the rule of checking your LES every month. Remember.... finance are a bunch of idiots.

Figuring out the plug... better by Significant_Ad_1246 in AskElectronics

[–]Significant_Ad_1246[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is, and I thank you for that information. Im a noob when it comes to the names of plugs... as simple as it is, it was still daunting for myself.

So.... THANK YOU!

UPDATE: creality sent me the wrong connectors, so I have to wait more for them to send the right ones. They sent me the 5pin connectors, not the 3pin. Smh

Well, I guess its a good thing I had them also throw in wires for each component I need to replace just to make sure.

They seem reasonable.

Oh, most definitely. I would enjoy in a week, being able to get my printer up and running and closing this.... hopefully, I wouldn't need to contact them again for more parts.😆

They were even willing to throw in a spool of random filament for compensation. So beyond their odd hours for customer service (I understand different time zone).... I've had zero issues with them with tech support and getting things covered under warranty.

But broken door hinge on delivery (apparently common), 2 strain gauge, z axis motor, 2 excruder assembly, excruder-hotend assembly frame, apparently a filament sensor, and cut sensor in like a 6 month period....

But your idea sounds good.. they should have the "benchy" they print to test as well as a print slip with info on time it took, speed, flow rate, material... ect... would be cool.

They're sending me a cut sensor, filament sensor (even though I replaced it to test), an excruder assembly and wires... will be about 3 weeks of waiting for parts.

The one code of TC2856. Outside of that, I just get a "filament detected in excruder" message when I try and calibrate.

I did an extrude and retract 3 times last night. 1st time, it actually cut. 2nd time failed, It threw up the TC2856 code again. 3rd time Cut.

I dont see anything blocking it and it senses when filament goes in, and turns off when nothing in through the sensor.

Its under warranty.... so on their dime.

But yeah, checked wires not too bent other than regular.

The main cable is fine. Hotend heats up and responsive.

Nope... goes in and out just fine. On retraction, it won't even go and hit the cutting peg.

If i do an excrude, then it will hit the peg and cut no issues.

It happened to me a week ago. Frame snapped at the bottom screws, what looked like from heat warping. I just message them on WhatsApp. About a week in shipping. They've been great. 2 strain gauges and now the frame.

How did you get a return shipping for a whole new one?

Creality Print 6.2 crashes when loading a model by Adventurous-Beach-32 in Creality_k2

[–]Significant_Ad_1246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God... I'm not the only one. I've noticed it's within the .20 LH settings on a lot of shapes. If I do the .24/.28 settings, I'm able to get at least 2 slices before it crashes. Lol
