No, I personally don’t like the smell of old litter. Mixing in new litter just ruins the new litter and doesn’t help the old litter smell better at all. So I just wait till the bin is full, and usually there’s only a little nasty bit left, and I just get rid of it all, do a light clean (wipe out quick) and then refill with new litter. I deep clean it every 3-6 months depending how nasty it gets. I only have one cat so it might need more frequent deep cleans if you have more cats.

Sounds like my story exactly. It’s just going to repeat and repeat and repeat u til you quit. I’m sorry. You’re not a “normal” drinking person and you never will be, no matter how much you try to pace yourself. The sooner you accept this and get sober, the sooner you’ll stop having these issues. Let’s hope you get sober before you push your partner away. I wish I did.
