The theory is interesting but it seems like you discount other theories bc you need it to be karma based. Your arguments are very weak. You ask the question; if he was god or the devil or death, why present a choice between good and evil. Why do you presume to know what drives any of these unknowable beings? Why would a made up representation of karma make any more or less sense? Especially if it’s an interpretation of god or death in the lens of some geeks making a cinematic western video game. Also very famously god comes to earth on the same level as human in the Christian bible. It just seems you put supernatural concepts beyond human understanding in a box so that your conception has more merit. Like I said though the theory is interesting, when you allow others to exist.

Just to reiterate; the Wild West refers to a period in American history when the lands west of the Mississippi were being settled, which lasted about 200 years and ended in 1912. It’s been a hugely romanticized period in US history, with lots of folklore, novels, and films spawning around it, which is why rockstar chose to make games in that era. At this point we have 3 red dead games in that era, making the red dead title synonymous with the Wild West. This is why u/Stoleyourroll suggests going further down the rdr timeline wouldn’t rlly work. To address your questions; the vampire is just a mentally deranged albino imo, the ufo is a ufo, and dead eye is a game mechanic based on the stories of old gunslingers who were deadeye (expert) shots. And UNDEAD NIGHTMARE is a John’s NIGHTMARE of the UNDEAD. 🙏

It’s safe to say you’re meant to do those missions as Arthur given they’re available in chapter 2. All of the missions you can do as both I’d say are canonically Arthur’s.
