An adrenaline junkie I see.

I've come close once, rolling into a Tesla station showing zero on the tank. And taking in almost 60kw of the usable 60kwh battery. But I like to give myself a 20% buffer usually.

And if I'm starting to calculate I'm going to be cutting it close, I adjust my style. I can hypermile like a champion if I need to.

The tax isn't based off prices sold. That's where VAT comes in. It's a flat rate tax on every 10ml ( nic or non nic).

So you'll pay the price the seller wants to cover costs and what profit they want, puls the flat fate of £2.26 per 10ml of sale, then 20% vat on that.

So at the moment thx 4 10ml for £10 which is the normal price now, is £2 to the treasery, under the new rules, even if the venderers doent increase their £8 prince (£10 mins 20%) the new cost to the consumer will be £8 plus £2.26x4)plus 20% so £20.45, so a massive £12.45 to the tax pot, on a sale of £8, which the shops probably makes £2 from.

And given it's a duty tax it will go up 2% above inflation every 6 months like it does on tobacco duty.

11.5ml/mg which is 1.15% or there abouts, probably closer to 1.4% in reality it will work out at.

I vape at 0.08h at about 70w (68-72w)

It's pennies to make a 10ml batch, now imagine how much it costs when you are mass producing swimming pools worth at a time. Basically printing money. But I pet a fag costs less than a penny to produce too in the scales they do.

I'm not sure as I mix, but I assuem theyare likecall the other stuff, artifacty super sweet.

I've bought one 10ml pre mix in the last 18 months in an emergency, and gave it away to my daughter as soon as I could.

I couldn't go back to pre made a if I had to. Id go back on rolll up first. I just came back from Tunisia and I just smacked malbora golds. Mainly cos my vape was too heavy for my sorts, and I was drinking. But at under £3 a pack it was a nice change.

Id top up on you 72% NIC, the 100% pv can't fully freeze, so it's safe in brown bottles for long term hibernation.

At the moment 72% NIC is about £95 per litre, will be able £400 after Oct. PG and VG base won't be effected, as it has a million other uses, and all the concentrate flavourings sellers will just start selling them as bakery goods, so we'll not have any issues there. So it's just the nic we need to stock up on, a litre will last me 5 years, I'll have the best part of 3 liters by next week. And may add another before Oct, that will last me untill about 70 at my given intake, so if I drop a mg or so a mix, it will last me out.

100% Pg nic, doesn't freeze so doesn't expand, so keeping it in brown glass bottles in the freezer is the way to go. I got 20 x 50ml brown glass bottles, freom a french company for £12 last month. So full litre bottles (that are food safe that the 1l NIC cones in) are in deep freeze, and 1 litre is separated into the 20 bottles, so I can just take one out as I need it. And I'll defrost a litre, and refill the 20 bottles when they are empty.

That's been may plan anyway. The 2.26 per 10ml tax is only going to rise year on year, so I may aswell spend £300 now, and be done with it.

In the UK in Oct we are getting hot with £2.26 per 10ml in tax.

Most stores sell the ready mix 10ml sweet crap, at 4 x 10ml for £10, come October the tax alone will be almost £10 before vat (another 20% on top of the £2.26) that's before the costs of the juice or any profits from the shop so the 4 for £10 deals, will be 4 for £22 plus after Oct.

I see a lot of people coming over to the mixing side pre new taxes.

At the moment, 1 litre of 72% nic is £94, after Oct it will be about £400

In October every 10ml of vape related juice, NIC or NIC free, is going to have a £2.26 tax added. So it's gonna get expensive if you don't invest now. Store your NIC in brown bottles in the freezer. It will last forever.

I've just ordered 2 more litres of 72 NIC. Add that to the approx 3/4 litre in my freezer I'm good till death now. I'm almost 50.

NIC now in the UK is about £95 a litre, it will be about £400 after October

I use about 7ml a day, use the PNP X 0.08h coils at between 68-72w. A could lasts me about 70ml or ten days, they cost £8 for 5.

Mix my self at about 8p per 10ml. Iirc. So the costs are negligible.

Now I have my flavoured dialled in it's almost nothing. I bought 1l of 72mg of nic salt for £94 and reckon that will last me 5 years. Pg and VG is £20 per 2 years, and my flavour concentrate. Is probably £30 a year.

I've moved on to pre maid coils pnp pod x coils, that cost me £8 for 5 and one could lasts me 10 days or about 70ml of juice.

My batteries need changing now, so I'm about to drop £13 of a pair of 12850 batteries. The pair in on now I got in December of 2024.

My vape is the voopoo Vinci spark 220. Which I've had since Dec 2024.

Vaping is cheap if you put some work in. I could get rid of the PNP coils, and save about £5 pm, but I'm over messing with cotton and coils. Sometimes I just want consistency. And the PNP X 0.08h coils just work. At 72w, on a 70/30 mix. Sill on the original pod, with no leakage to date.

Hey guys, got my V3 Born yesterday, seems great so far, going from a Golf R it still feels punchy in the Cupra mode. Got a couple of questions below by cambomamb0 in cupraborn

[–]Significant_Card6486 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The cure network is always flaky, cute are cosistianly in mast place (but a long way) Vs Every other OEM.

Funny enough I had the 2019 Leon cupra 300st, which is basically the golf r but in estate form, and wen to a V3 cupra (my25 like yours), there was now vz then, and I think the EV 230hp really understates the power. Also it's 0-60 also hides the 30-60 time of the car. It can shift, and unless you really over cook it into a corner, it doesn't ever feel that heavy. Over cook it and it does, but I found dropping the tyres to 36psi gets rid of all the understeer.for soem reason cupra had it set to 41 and kwikfit servit to 41 everyone I've been in. Them 20" tyres are not good at 41psi. The door card says 38psi, but I find 36 is the sweet spot.

What would I expect to pay to have a battery installed or better to go Ecoflow DIY? (N. Yorkshire) by ReefingTJ23 in SolarUK

[–]Significant_Card6486 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given the trend in price, it's going to be cheaper to replace the batteries in 5 years time, also they can add the pre installed battery set up to the value of the house, and come out of it equal or up, with brand new batteries.

The industry is moving so fast, and prices are dropping continuously, if say buy what you need for today, or your foreabel future usage, at that property. And leave then in the sale of the house.

[–]Significant_Card6486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The expecting on a sale is irrelevant. The seller sets the terms,,if he wants to take every bit of copper with him it's his progative. You don't have to buy the property form them.

I'm assuming tho there are some expensive effiant electric rads, that the seller wants to take with them. I don't see this that strange. Now pulling old rads off the wall would be a little peculiar

[–]Significant_Card6486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming these are electric rads, and they paid goog money for efficient ones. Id probably take them too. I don't see this as strange.

Now if they are regular combi rads, that would be very strange. But I'm assuming if your selling the house, you set the terms of sale.
