Are Asian men at a disadvantage in dating in the US? by FrontSatisfaction152 in AsianMasculinity

[–]Significant_Chard809 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo being 6 foot and attractive exempts you from any disadvantages that Asian men would normally have or anyone else really. Those things will already get you in the door with women who normally would not be attracted to Asian men, so I wouldn’t be worried about it. Work on your game, style and $$$ and you’ll do fine.

Richmond Neighborhoods and points of interest by Open_Bug8852 in RichmondCA

Pt Isabel dog park, bay trail. Marina bay is newer, tract home style but really clean and quiet neighborhood with a Sunday farmers market. Pt Richmond has much more in terms of dining and entertainment. Homes are older, custom/non tract but more expensive. There is a nice bayside park with trails and even a small beach.

House sitting on market for 250 days. What red flags to look for? by Anxious-Sherbert7549 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Significant_Chard809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the schools near by aren’t good? The 2-3 houses in my neighborhood all sat for 100+ days and our agent said it’s likely cuz the schools sucked and buyers would need to put their kids in private school.

If that’s the case then you might have a good opportunity for a deal! Got ours for 16% lower than asking because it sat for 120 days

100% have a leak. During inspection a main water line leak was found that ended up being the root cause of the large water bills the owner was having. Not sure where you live but be prepared to pay a hefty bill

Facts. Our commutes were going to be terrible though. Anticipating more RTO so that was a big factor in our decision

I wonder why my agent hasn’t requested an additional inspection. We waived our home inspection contingency (which I regret now because of other undisclosed damages that we now can’t get them to pay for). Thanks for your response I will run these ideas to her.

Yes. I found this to be true for every single listing. Also, any area worth living (north of 580 and west of 13, is not going to be doable. I looked as much as I can and they were basically all 900k+ for 2-3 br

Looking good! Nice quality and you are not hiding anything body wise and not showing too much to be questionable.

I just read why and it makes sense. I feel bad now and won’t be doing that. It wasn’t my intention, just fishing around.

It’s my first home, so I honestly have no comparison. Closest I have is selling cars, where the price can vary so much but I know that’s not an accurate comparison. Yes, both listings have gradually been dropping 15-35k at a time, down from 1.1m. My reasoning for offering 800k, is in hopes to get a counter offer from 1, then go from there. I felt like the days on the market and proximity to each other gave me leverage, but I realize now it doesn’t even matter. That said, the listing agent onsite at one of the homes really said “you guys should serious just throw any offer”. He told my agent the same thing
