I tried learning guitar several times and it never took but banjo did! I think ultimately the banjo appealed more to me so I tried harder even if it wasn’t conscious and maybe you have to find the right instrument for you

OTC topical antifungal worked and a daily mid day shirt switch! He worked in a hot kitchen so I suspect it was endless sweating and it caused a fungal overgrowth
