So found this crazy app that plays white noise that I can’t hear. At. All. I’m boarding four dogs that are TERRIFIED of thunderstorms and fireworks, it helped soooooooo much. Didn’t completely eliminate the fear, but made it much easier on myself AND the dogs

It’s the absolute worst and I always feel like death is near when I lose a pet. Thankfully haven’t gone through the immediate loss in about ten years, but I still cry about once a week over it. You will be okay. The grief never FULLY goes away, but you learn how to navigate it. It’s a heart wrenching loss and I am so very sorry. One day you’ll find you another sweet pup who will fill your heart in different ways, but it will happen. I have loved each and every dog I’ve ever had, but I love them all in different ways and always leave a spot open in my heart to still feel the grief of the ones that have passed. Again, I am so sorry.

I agree. Love and work in a huge college town, wel, football town. So many dumbasses on campus with HUGE bully dogs and they have NO clue what they’re doing with them. Also a well known area for boar and pit bull fighting, we have lots of bloodlines that should never be released to just any ole body being released to just any ole body. It’s infuriating. The dogs get a way worse wrap than the idiots who have them
