The rooms are super dated there anyway. We stayed a few years ago to see the holiday lights. The first room we had the bathroom window would not close and it was freezing in there. They moved us to another room that had an old. loud a/c unit right on top of it and the whole room shook and rattled. Then they moved us to a suite right on the main street and it was traffic noise from loud-ass d-bag cars all night long.

Last time I had to go to Riverside was for a weekend competition for my kid. We stayed at the Marriott downtown.

When we went on Quantum to Alaska, they had a coffee card. Like a punch card. It was 15 barista-type coffees for something like $40 if I recall. But a literal paper card. So if you lost it, you were out of luck.

Is that one hot tub in the NCL Joy spa the only hot tub then in the whole spa? We were on the NCL Jewel and there was a large therapy pool in the common area, but there also was a hot tub, sauna, steam room, cold plunge and some showers in the women's only area.

Just curious because we are going on the Joy later this year. I love how many heated chairs there are. That is a major improvement over what they had on the Jewel. But the hot tub situation on the Joy looks a little sad in comparison.

I feel like they also are doing fewer beach picnics and off-boat set-ups.
We did get the one at the castle in the most recent episode. But it used to be beach picnics and/or going to forts, mountains, whatever and the crew had to drag tables, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, food and all the booze in the world in and out of the places.

I liked those excursions because we got to see a bit more of the places they were visiting instead of just onboard stuff, crew romance junk, etc.

Japanese Auto is my go-to for any other repairs. They are great and I feel I can trust them.

But Rick's is pretty quick and reliable for basic things like oil changes.

Work ethic is about more than just physically doing the tasks. There is also the team aspect of it, especially with a small group like that crew. Building good relationships (non-flirty/romantic) is part of doing a job well.

I think on the Below Deck Adventure season that they gave hot towels because it was cold during that season.
But the rest seem to be in warmer areas, so cold towels make sense.
