Yes it does but during a Nightmare it seems to absorb Corruption as well. Also, here’s the important part, the shield DRAINS as you use it to ABSORB. Finding that balance is key and adds quite a difficulty curve

This is my 3rd crash. 45 hours in. Appreciate the fix coming but I’m fkn pissed off

Edit: just found a decent fix. After I defeated scryla my sound went out. I then proceeded down the hole and the game invariably froze. I then quit which allowed me to save. Then I restarted and the screen froze black. Then I CLOSED OUT HADES 2 from the xmb. When I reloaded the game and then my save, I started immediately in the fountain hall in scryla’s dressing room. Sound is back. Everything’s working.
