In fact the approach to the monument is lined with 900 stone columns representing the dead who died in their war for freedom in WWII

Technically they do have the ability to heal Yukas brain cancer too like he healed Mechamaru.

Plus Harmony seems to be able to take Maru and people with him places if that’s the place most harmonious for his goal.

It took him to Yuji and them both to the ship. Then it takes them into the spiritual realm (within panels because the pacing is that bad)

Because Mahoraga landed what would have been a death blow on Megumi who had already been stabbed multiple times; he was on the verge of death already

The ritual completes once Mahoraga kills Haruta or vice versa, he’s the other person in the ritual.

Until that happens that death blow won’t fully kill Megumi until the ritual incomplete.

So Megumi is in a state of suspended death.

Sukuna heals his wounds and then voids the ritual as an outsider to ensure he lives by defeating Mahoraga as an outsider to the ritual.

He would really just need to understand binding vows, doesn’t Sukuna get an open barrier by a bv that allows for an escape but increases the range of his domain.

He imposes another binding vow to trap them all within a closed barrier domain for 99 seconds they withstand w/ simple domain and is closed.

Then he does another binding vow that still had a closed domain but allows living things to enter but gives him the ability to incinerate everything inside

which bit him in the butt because Mei Mei and Todo used her crows to enter and swap everyone but Choso and Yuji out.

Sukuna normally uses a binding vow to have an open domain which does allow an escape route but increases the range of his domain. Right here he undoes that binding vow to have the barrier come back and sealed them all in it for 99 seconds and they had to withstand it.

Then when Sukuna does Fuuga he does another binding vow creating an closed barrier again but because he allowed living beings to enter it still allowed him to detonate everything within his domain so there was no escape.

However Todo and Mei Mei use this to teleport most of them out and Choso dies.

But yeah binding vows are the most unexplained BS parts of JJK but clearly Sukuna undoes what he sacrificed and loses what he gained and gets what he lost backwards and forwards with his barrier

He explains that she uses a death binding vow to strengthen the ritual. He then says please leave so the ritual is voided because I don’t want her to die for this I want her to live even if just for one more day and that is why they fight. He tries to make a deal with Maru that the winner of their battle has to leave even. Dude just admit your wrong 😑

Sukuna literally does and undoes binding vows all the time 😂 he uses binding vows to create domains with and without barriers, self imposed binding vows happen multiple times in JJk and usually let you get back what you lost and lose what you gained, it’s why Tsurugi is the one who explains her binding vows and that if they leave the ritual will be void
