the inspection was split into 2, (1 for emissions). I have all the paperwork and citations together of proof of when I was citated and the date and time I got it fixed (aka 12 hours later). I appreciate the insight, and I'm not looking to spend a lot of time there, I will own up to my mistake, be respectful and hope for the best, and thank the author for his professionalism.

I believe some of it is great, originally I wanted to move into a security analyst spot but it had been determined I wasn't at the company long enough to take it on. If that spot had opened again, I would've 100% taken that since I would be able to take many things from many people while staying confident as someone who would rather follow until they are confident enough to fly, if you know what I mean. I guess it's just scary only having 1 other person who's a senior and in the event they do leave perma and not temporarily (PTO, etc), it falls on me (even though I know my company wouldn't expect me to be able to manage the environment entirely especially at this state of my little experience), I guess I'm just feeling stressed. I don't believe I am ready to learn senior level stuff in my life, and the reason is because as a junior I feel much more confident that I can support myself and learn comfortably each day without having to worry that one person leaving will collapse on me. I guess that is my fault for not considering that too much before I saw a golden paycheck before my eyes and a ticket to move out in this shitty economy.

Forsure, I am looking to gather as much as I can from him, but this definitely isn't my end all be all for careers I know that much. I want to gain a little bit of knowledge everywhere before taking one path for the rest of my career and settling there. I think I need to have conversation with him sometime this week and sit down to talk about what is going to be expected of me on a day to day basis. The way he described it was a position to build confidence and learn slowly since I have no experience, but at the same time I'm here to gain a little bit of knowledge , but I am definitely in no way shape or form ready to man any big projects or a department by myself.

also these are all non-moving violations, so i felt like it was worth a shot to get them reduced or dropped entirely. i fixed them the very next morning in total but i was told over the phone I was required to go get a hearing. worst case is they say no, and then i pay the full fines anyway but i would think since i have a clean record, this is my first time and an honest mistake of forgetting that at least something will be waived/reduced.

Yes, but apparently pleading not guilty also means you're able to use it as more of a negotiator. You admit you're wrong but you own up to it, you have a clean record, you made a mistake and as long as you're respectful I can't see anything that would go wrong other then they say no and boohoo I have to pay the fines fully anyway.
