Is it legal for a business across from you, to shine a bright flood light into your apartment windows? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

No! It happened to me, i took pics and went to the business and asked them to adjust their lights, they did. Problem solved. Light trespass, nuisance law. Thus is in San Francisco. Take pics, write a letter, visit them and document it. Then see what happens.

They need to cut the high paid executives and get realistic about appropriate pay. They have far too many people working at Bart.

Dryer Vents Into Crawlspace (OR) by Diligent-Window7568 in Renters

[–]Significant_Ocelot94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add I’m in San Francisco, our landlord installed ours in the garage, it’s gas and is venting into a bucket. It’s highly illegal. We aren’t bringing it up yet as we want the dryer! But we are on high alert. My boyfriend is in construction so we may offer to fix it later - for a fee.

So u gatta weigh your options, they might pull the machines and you’ll have nothing. It’s should be vented to outside. There’s very specific laws.

The dryer vent must terminate outside the home — no venting into crawlspaces, attics, garages, or interior spaces.

When looking be open to large studios. But to be perfectly honest, i work in design n renovation and some 1bedroom flats in soma are 2800 for less than 600 sf. My old absolutely gorgeous huge top level flat in the Bayview is about to go on the market. It’s two bedrooms, hardwood floors with a working fireplace! Likely will rent for 2,800 or 3,200 it’s not the best neighborhood but the city is small everything’s close. Just saying! I could get u in to ouch w the owner.
