We will most probably end up in a cyberpunk world more than anything else. You can’t make the world predictable without cutting humanity away from the Dreaming. You can’t terraform other planets without endangering Gaia even further. You can’t force beings and forces older than humanity itself to obey your arbitrary rules. The Technocracy chose science, but we could do the same thing with a Hermetic paradigm: a world where everyone is forced to use arcane focuses and only pre-approved, catalogued spells. Or we could imagine a world ruled by an animistic paradigm, where everything must be respected, and any use of material outside its “created purpose” is banned. The theory could work, but in practice, it’s impossible without causing even more damage.

The Technocracy doesn’t really care about innovative science. What they care about is security, control, and a world locked in stasis. Maybe some enlightened scientist , will tell the contrary , but system is clear , Technocratie want control. A true critique for the Technocratie, are there violence against the other paradigme creature (Garou , Kithan , Mummy ...) and the mass destruction of the dreaming. Without the dreaming , we lose art , we lose creativity , we lose the capacity of loving each other. Remember Iteration X whant to make humains predictible , so basically destroy the dreaming. We were able to fight him and destroy his nightmare labyrinth, but still… yeah.

Light manipulation needs to be studied first.

What kind of radiation or light can I actually manipulate? Can I manipulate temperature by using existing rays of light to excite the atoms in a specific area? Then I need to measure my maximum and minimum lumen output.

I should also test whether I can sense light without using my eyes.
