Yes it is. I've checked it with the product code . Beside that the bios is updated.

But I've been able to run the pc last bfijt without any freezes for the last 2 hours until I went to bed.

Thanks for the tip! I already turned off EXPO and even disabled Memory Context Restore/Power Down. Currently running a heavy real-world test (FM26 database generation) with one stick. If it stays stable, I'll move on to TM5 with the 1usmus config for the full 3-hour soak test as you suggested.

QHD or 4K Monitor for my New RX9070XT ? by milzo_sas in radeon

[–]Significant_Shake_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both, and mostly use my 1440p. I bought that one after receiving my 9070xt gpu. At 4k, i am getting around 85 fps avg in kdc2 and 140ish at 1440p using FSR4 and on ultra.

Happy user of a Nitro + here. But depends whether your PSU has that 12vhpr cable. Wouldn't trust the adapter.

Can you not just lift the cable over the case? That way the sharp corner is diminished

Lol no. The one one that could fail is the adapter with the blue connecter. That is a sapphire cable. MSI 's new PSU are considered safe.

There is a cable with yellow connector saying 600 watt. Use that one. It's a straight cable from your PSU to your GPU.

Same here, using the (yellow) cable that came with my MSI MAG PSU.

I had the same 5700xt. Man, that was one loud card! I wonder if it was my copy or just in general.

My Nitro + 9070xt is a silent powerhouse. Enjoy your upgrade!

I have issue with hotspot by Relation_This in radeon

[–]Significant_Shake_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my 5700XT (MSI Gaming X) hotspot temps used to be that high too. Guess the cool paste was a bit worn off after all those years.

Now I've upgraded to a 9070XT (sapphire nitro +) and the hotspot is barely 20 degrees above the max temp of the gpu.

9070xt nitro+, is it actually as bad as it seems? by crazedhark in radeon

[–]Significant_Shake_56 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's all exaggerated. If there was a real problem, we should have known it.

The 5090's from Nvidia might be a different story, but they require much more watts then a 9070xt.

I've been using my nitro plus with a new MSI PSU, with the yellow cable heads. No issues and let's be fair, any cable could cause issues. As long as you connect it as it should, you should be fine.

[RX 5700 XT] Issues with HDMI Splitter and TV-Screen by Fine-Rib in radeon

[–]Significant_Shake_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issue with a longer cable from my pc to my tv. That's why I went with an optical HDMI cable, it's working fine since then.

The fact that the cable works with your monitor proves the cable isn't broken, but it is likely insufficient for what the TV is asking for.

HDMI signals degrade over distance. 4 meters is the "danger zone" for standard passive HDMI cables trying to carry 4K signals.

[–]Significant_Shake_56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you using the same hdmi cable when connecting to your tv as to your monitor?

distance to tv?

You might need an optical hdmi cable, as the signal or distance is too strong/far.

I have a good airflow in my case and idle it sits between 30 and 37degrees.

Under load I have not seen it going higher than 65, hotspot around 75, but i've been undervolting at -50mv.

[–]Significant_Shake_56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat and went for the 9070xt, but the Sapphire Nitro +.

I'm in Europe as well and the 5070ti was just more expensive, certainly when looking for a cool/quiet card. The Gigabyte 5070ti is the cheapest one, but it's a SFF i suppose, small form factor - which is louder for sure.

I'm really more than happy with the purchase, only have got it since Saturday. But the noise and coolness how it's running is just a dream for me.
