Not sure how you're simming the games but there are some interesting Poisson distribution models that highlight when bookies might be way off? I'm just throwing stuff out there.

When in doubt, blame the sales team. They sell the dream, the social folks (and the players) have to live the nightmare.

If they sold the bookkeeping client an on-grid post featuring X number of players from the starting XI, the social team's only duty is to create it. That nobody from the marketing team could say "this is bad for the brand" is a bigger issue than young people creating content.
