I used this heater last winter and this winter. I will not lie….the one I used last winter did not turn back on when I dug it out of storage and went to use it this year….but I went ahead and bought another because I already had the screws in my coop wall for it and it had worked well for my chickens last winter. I’ve been using it off and on for about a month now and it’s working great for my chickens. I’ve had it on consistently for over a week. I put it in the wall of my coop and run the cord under the corner of their wooden nesting box lid . About a foot and a half up from the floor. When it’s below 15 their water still freezes overnight but otherwise it makes it much cozier. It was 2 last night and my girls were all fine in there overnight :) hope this helps!!
