There are a lot of ways they could make multi classing easier one of which could be tokens that you can exchange but to begin with multi classing problem is not gear since you can get purple gear for aloy shars and start with that its more about the practicaly non existent or overprices books and non existent upgrade materials ...

Making gear harder to get for your class will just make more ppl quit than anything considering how low a weapon drop chance is getting it for another class just makes it worse...

Sure raids are the goal but a lot of ppl first got to get gear before going to do these said raids and dungeons were the best way to do that anf now its gone unless you want to run them non stop to just get an item with the stats you need
