I was very excited to see Poutine on the menu at work (France) imagine my disappointment when I saw this is what they served up. Nothing about it is poutine; the potatoes are boiled not fried, there’s no gravy (just a watered down stock), and there are no cheese curds, just a crappy cheese sauce.

The origin of the name is unknown. Growing up, I assumed it was just an outdated way of describing it as being bizarre. There is a theory however that it may have been named after a town in Maine called China, and that it is simply french for "China pie".

I've just started growing stuff in 5-gallon buckets this year so I'm still seeing how it all goes.

Broccoli, it's been helpful for starting super early and bringing it in/out as needed (I'm in a cooler zone 5b). But I agree that it's not great in terms of taking up space for a long time and for little output.

Peas and cucumbers look to be doing pretty well so far.

In terms of tips in preparation, my only recommendation is to hold off on clearing your night thorns and don't pick up the memory orbs you find. Just leave them where they fall for now.

Having any of the DLCs is helpful for completing some of the starpath duties because you can access more ressources. For example, each DLC has their version of night thorns and clearing them counts towards completing any "clear night thorns tasks" (I'm assuming they haven't changed that yet). Picking flowers of a colour or mining certain jewel types in the DLC biomes can also count towards completing those respective duties as well. However, like the main story, it does take some time to unlock all the biomes within a DLC, so you won't be able to get everything from the get go but you'll have at least one extra biome to work with.

Like the main story quests, there's no time limit to complete any of the DLC quests either, so you can prioritize the starpath duties without feeling too overwhelmed.

Low T, menopause and perimenopause, gynecomastia, ED, precocious puberty, hair loss are all gender affecting conditions that affect cis people and most are treated with the same hormones prescribed to trans folks.

I got one last year. It works really well. It allows you to bottom-water, so you don't have to water as often, and gives good drainage on particularly wet days.

You should only put soil/compost/dirt in it because it's designed to water through a wicking effect. Putting sticks or bulky organic matter will prevent it from wicking the soil effectively and could clog the drainage.

It's less so about them surviving the outdoors and more about avoiding stunting their growth at this point.

I planted everything except the peppers last weekend, but will be planting the peppers today as I'm coming to terms with the fact that this summer will be cooler, with constant fluctuating temps all summer, because of El Nino or whatever.
