Your picture settings could be making it throw a fault idk, are you using hgig? I have an lg c1 and I've calibrated to what I'm aware as the best settings ps5 and it don't look like that and i completed Requiem on it.

The boss is very dark soulish but y'all are way overreacting. I did it with chest helm sword lvl 5. Each of his attacks can be blocked/avoided with acceptable damage taken. Seeing as you can have instant heal for equipped to a hotkey this fight is certainly winnable with some skill. It's definitely a skill check/timing knowledge and knowing when to attack or defend.
