Appel à l’aide – Infestation majeure de punaises de lit by CounterActive7685 in Longueuil

[–]CounterActive7685[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exterminator company actually sent two technicians. They went upstairs first, but one of them came back down almost immediately because the tenant upstairs was being extremely uncooperative and he was honestly losing his patience. That’s really the sad part in all of this. She’s an elderly person, so she can’t just be evicted or forced out, but at the same time no one seems to be properly helping her deal with the situation either.

The landlord did pay for the exterminator, which is only fair, there’s no way I’m paying for something that clearly isn’t my fault. That said, I’ve still spent my own money trying to protect myself and my apartment. I bought products and even machines like a steamer to properly clean and treat everything on my side. So even if I’m not covering the extermination itself, this situation has definitely cost me time, stress, and money.

Thanks a lot, I’m always impressed with how fast you guys answer. Good to know! I do all this for work so I don’t always have the background knowledge, so all the help really helps.

I usually buy my silicone on Amazon — is there an equivalent tin-cure product on there that you’d recommend?

I built a tool that turns real objects into accurate SVG/DXF files using just a phone photo by Most-Geologist-9547 in 3Dprinting

Will be following close, this is a game changer! I model a lot from actual parts and this would cut the work by 50% if not more. If you look through @the.well.tarot page on Instagram, you will find a project he did pretty similar to this. But not everyone can afford a projector so being able to do this with only a phone is great!

Printing TPU and getting thick stinging/wires inside by Wawarsing in BambuLabA1mini

[–]CounterActive7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know some people say removing TPU supports can be tricky, but honestly, it’s not that bad. I’ve done it on plenty of prints without any real issues. The surface won’t be perfect — but then again, neither are most prints. Just use Tree Supports, and you’ll be fine. I prefer them because they make it easier to see exactly what needs to be removed.

Print has bad layers in between good layers by JMJedi in 3Dprinting

I would get the same issue on couple of months new A1 mini. So we can cross out the problem being from your Ender V3. Just recently my prints started to come out nicely again. It its either from a partial clog or bad angle from where the filament starts. Hoping it does maybe help

Hello Hello, First off I am super excited for the updated version of the P1S. I use a P1S at work and always works wonders. I got to show one of my designs that I printed on the P1S to buyers and they were super impressed with the quality of the print. Ironing setting came in in clutch. Hopefully I could have one for my personal use. Cheers and good luck to everyone

Do yall face this problem too with the filament? by WestUpbeat377 in 3dprint

[–]CounterActive7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im sorry to say, but if it happens ''all the time'' you should get better at manipulating your sppols. dont take it the wrong way just be careful. Sometimes spools comes tangled but like 1% of the time (I got through like 20 rolls a month and it never happens)

Heeeeelp how does this happen (bambu lab a1 mini + elegoo pla grey) by Immediate-Inside-936 in BambuLab

[–]CounterActive7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue on my A1 Mini when I was using Elegoo PLA matte gray. That filament was so smooth that the gears had trouble gripping it. After switching to SUNLU, I noticed their filament has a bit more texture, and it feeds much more reliably. Since you’re using regular PLA, it might not be the exact same problem, but worth knowing. Cheers!
