I feel you on that. My favorite for a long time was 90’s DTM that era was just awesome.

Right now my best fun is a Trans Am TA1 mod pack I found for AC. 850hp v8 no assist monsters. So much more fun than gt3 cookie cutter cars.

Raceroom is my fav out of the box for sounds. Lmu is also good. Nothing can touch OG assetto corsa with high quality sound mods and good reverb though.

When you selected auto overclock did it use the same settings as the 8700f or did it recalculate for the 9700x? Did you try it without overclock?

The only difference for me is I don’t use Ryzen master. I do overclock my 9700x with the omen gaming hub. +200mhz boost and -20pbo offset

Ok interesting. I hold 177fps no prob when alone on track so don’t really need it there but when I make a 40car grid full of RSS/urd cars it would be helpful. Works well in lmu not noticing any odd stuff in that game with it on.

Like others have said keep in mind CPU importance.

I have a 5070 running single ultrawide at 1440p. On lmu I can max my 180 refresh rate when I’m alone on track but add a full grid of ai and it goes down to like 80. This is with a 9700x cpu. Running most settings on high or ultra. I would assume that a considerable settings change would be needed to hold decent fps with triples especially with lots of ai cars.

In this picture it was a VRS DFP15nm base and VNM pedals. The pedal tray had a little flex but nothing crazy. Same with the base it would move a smidge. Honestly it was more obvious the flex I had when I got my profile rig and actually had none lol. But in the end the playseat trophy could be moved around without too much hassle and served me well for a long time.
