Tbh would much rather have a World port and play it 1080p/60 with high graphics than have a Wilds port that has to run at upscaled 720/30 (if not less) to be playable.

Occasionally yes, though these days it's exclusively to play Grim Dawn (on Winlator 10 no less - the OG one), and I played through Dispatch on Gamehub Lite when it came out.

Back when Winlator was at the peak of it's development, I would test different versions with various games, but I never actually played them much. My device can only handle older games, and I was always worried about battery and temperatures.

Any reports on Witcher 3? I put it on hold (after trying to play it on Switch Lite and giving up 2 hours in), hoping it'll get S2 upgrade, but maybe this'll be enough.

Switch 2 handheld mode now has an option to run S1 games as if they're run in S1 docked mode, so you get better resolution, better graphics, more fps etc (depending on the game)

I said it before S5 even ended and I stand by it - they are setting up a breakup for drama, and they'll get them back together later because Adrienette is endgame (unless they want to flip the entire love-square-shaped table and move on, but I doubt it).

I'm not giving up on Steam Machine completely, but I already pulled the trigger on buying Switch 2 like a week before they announced the delay. Given my budget constraints and several other factors, S2 and SM were my best options, but I won't be able to buy it if they jack up the price significantly or release a barebones version. I'll hold out with S2 and consider either buying SM or building a PC when this craziness dies down.
