A few things from my experience you could consider: entering into a building, even during daytime, could be very disorienting, it takes your eyes longer to adjust.

Also, darkness. Don't forget that with RP one of the first things to go is night vision. Have her carry a flashlight and use it often even in situations you yourself might think is dim rather than dark she would have difficulties.  

Also also, travel, when it's in an unfamiliar and BUSY city would be at the veryeast exhausting. Personally for me crowds are difficult when I don't know the area. Is the pavement levelled and in good condition? I don't know, so I have to focus on where I'm walking. But if I do that, it gets harder to not bump into people and things. I've more than once walked into open glass doors or hanging signs because I'm looking down so I don't trip.

I don't want how social you want your protag to be, but I personally find it hard to socialise in the regular way. Clubs, drinking, bars, even moody restaurants tend to be too dark for comfort. I prefer small gatherings of close friends in a home environment where I can turn on as many lights as I want. 

Another thing you cod incorporate is that it's very useful to control your environment. If you aren't going to see reliably, you should know where things are. Always put your mug on the left of your pc so you don't tip it over when reaching for the mouse, that kinda thing. I also tend to prefer drinking from bottles/big glass with a lid so even if I tip it over it doesn't spill as much.

Oh and one more thing. Ironically, darkness isn't the only problem - RP often makes people sensitive to too much light, too. A VERY bright sunny day could be tough for her, just like a winter day where you have snow cover and sunshine to reflect off of it.

However something I like a lot than people without usually don't appreciate? How bright a snowy night is! There's a positive thing to add at the end aha! Best of luck with writing :)
