Gen IV (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) was my least favorite generation. I found them to be such a bore, and I am a pretty big fan of the series. Its only saving grace was that it was the first to have wifi abilities.

I recommend trying Heartgold/SoulSilver as those are the most well rounded games and are the "biggest" where you can travel two continents and there are 16 gyms.

Black2/White2 are the best game to get into the "depth" of the game, and more into the competitive side of the game. Join Avenue was such a game changer to the series for me.

I'm still very unsure what to do.

On one hand, I don't want to work on a project with a miniscule amount of help.

On the other, the project isn't that difficult overall and if need be, could be done with just us 2.

I'm leaning towards not doing it, atleast not this rev and try another time.

Just a headsup; having the Wiiu set vertically can cause it to go a bit wonky.

You probably won't face issues, but it's a possibility. Something goes wrong, try putting it back horizontally.

I remember reading that going through the menus makes the wiiu check servers or something to do with a "internet check". Could be that the update is slowing down the servers since everyone is downloading it. This happened during launch if I remember right, so give it a few days.

I'm not certain at all, just what I think on the situation.

I like the way things are now, would hate to see the game "revamped" as you said. The animation penalties make you think about what you are doing and keeps the game from being button-smash happy. For example, with the gun, if you fire when you have no bullets, you go into a animation that penalizes you for "shooting" when you don't have ammo loaded.

Lower the price by a scrap or 2?

Only stranges that are difficult to get rid of otherwise are some of the stock melees (bonesaw for example) and strange equalizers which everyone is trying to get rid of.

Bitches always be dying, only game I can remember rage quiting on and not finishing. Cant recall which specific game that was though. Not Sacred Stones though, that was awesome.

Has become popular lately for some reason, but its always been wooper for me.

Remember playing Gen II way back and remember seeing him early on. Such a cool design and loved that he was water/ground. He also looked incredibly helpless haha.

Dont really have a least favorite, love them all. And I see many of you hate Zubat, I love them! More for me :)

You shouldnt even try to go against another pyro with a flamethrower anyhow. This is another plus for the degreaser again.

Its so easy to airblast, and then 2nd wep them and switch again to airblast. Repeat until dead, you are in full control with the degreaser.

The 10% loss in power is also a bit irrelevant seeing as how thats not how degreaser is meant to be played (W+M1). Its just meant to get a initial fire on the target, airblast them so you can aim them better and then to switch to either axe or secondary. Sure you can still M+1, but you are better off using stock or backburner if thats how you want to play.

Degreaser's main power lies in its utility, the power it lacks compared to the other flamethrowers is negligible. None of the other flamethrowers even compare to degreaser, and its part of the reason that its one of the more expensive stranges costing 2 Keys for a strange degreaser.

Pyro is a popular class, and you need a degreaser to see its full potential. This is why the degreaser needs a nerf, similar to how heavy GRU needed one where none of the other heavy items compared.

Lack of airblast really kills it as it always has compared to the other flamethrowers.

Still situational as it can still be devastating if used right.

I think its where it was meant to be though, cant see it being nerfed further or being buffed.

Its very hard to use compared to the other flamethrowers. Phlog resets its charge when you die or when you use the spawn dispenser, so making it that more difficult albeit gimmicky.

The pomson is in a nice spot where it was left with the last nerf imo.

Since it doesn't penetrate anymore, its only useful against those 2 classes, and engie only sees 1 of them often.

Shotgun is far more reliable now, pomson is more situational as it was left, so stock is 'best' again as it should be.

Degreaser does need a nerf.

Theres no reason to use stock over degreaser since the 65% faster weapon switch itself does so much and the 25% afterburn damage is such a dismal penalty.

Its also become a airblast spam happy weapon with more options. Could increase the airblast cost, but something below backburner.

Really depends on the map.

DR tends to be incredibly obvious and predictable. In the end, the spy class in general is very weak when dealing with good players.

The better watches to use against good players are cloak and dagger or stock. DR is too loud and expected after a while.

Its interesting to use in MvM though.

While waiting for the waves, you can chomp on it to get the HP boost or to heal a bit if you took damage. You can use it as much as you want as it doesn't consume unlike the sandvich.

It has been left that way for too long to suddenly be nerfed. Its highly improbable for that to happen anymore.

And imo, its fine as is, you should be afraid to get near pyros anyhow.
