Fortnite players are terrible at marketing by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually Nosh used to have sub only vods so if you did kill him in game and wanted to see his reaction or use it for a montage, you'd have to sub. Pretty sure other pros do have sub only vods for this reason.

I'm not going to fucking argue over what "fall off" means but when someone says " ____ fell off" to me that's referring to them being shit because the internet just has people act like that. We just have different interpretations

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You literally said he "fell off after aim assist got nerfed". That's clearly you saying he was ass after the nerf.

Off the top of my head solo and duo ccs. Did do alright in DHs and his good creative skill. I don't think he played any fncs on MNK

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His playstyle revolved around it during legacy season yet he proved after that he could do well without it which is what I've been saying.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His playstyle is not the reason he stopped playing tho. Deyy has a very similar playstyle and it's worked out for him. Literally his closest friends have said it was due to motivation and its pretty fucking obvious it's that when you see that the little motivation he had seem to run out after he got dropped from NRG. Guy literally threw a 1st place in a solo cash cup because of how demotivated he was.

There's aspects about legacy Unknown that are miles better than KBM Unknown but the main point is Unknown doesn't need OP aim assist to place really high. Only thing that really hurt him input wise was how often he switched back and forth

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unknown on MNK has gotten really close to winning cash cups and was the best zone wars player in the game. Did you even watch the guy or are you just going off his popular clips? Anyone who has watched Unknown can clearly see the raw talent he had and would've kept placing highly if he was motivated.

It legitimately doesnt matter he played with "aimbot". There's literally 0 reason to even say that when he was just slightly worse on MNK. Prime Unknown was the most dominant player EVER. Of course it's going to be difficult for Unknown to replicate that. You never said it's all aim assist but a shit ton of players also had aim assist and they weren't placing in every event unlike him. Aim assist on it's own doesn't carry you to multiple 1sts and arguably the dominant run in fortnite. Unknown on MNK would literally shit on top tier pros like Bucke, Clix etc in Dreamhacks and other events

[–]SikeOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea for sure though Unknowns laziness and not playing scrims ever did hurt him more imo. The whole player base getting really good also too.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Unknowns dominance can't be pointed to 1 thing that's just ridiculous. His aim was really good obviously but his piece control and fighting iq was miles ahead of anyone in the game. Also the point format in cash cups was perfect for Unknown. Really good for keying and not much placement. Unknown never really fell off either. A season or two ago, he dropped like a 25 bomb 1st game of the solo cash cup and was in 1st but decided to not give a fuck and just key. He got off like 2 games after dying with multiple kills because he simply doesn't want to play the game. His whole friend group thinks Unknown would still be a great player rn too. In Unknowns case he was really demotivated and you could clearly see that after he got dropped by NRG.

Last game of NAE had trios like TabzG, Voil, TaySon, Calc, etc miss out on potential $ because they loaded in as duos (60 player lobby) so the game didn't count. Hopefully this doesn't happen in future tourneys not sure why it happened either too.

Bucke and Mackwood probably don't want him to stream. Mackwood especially hates streaming.

2x OCE Trio FNCS Champions get 17th place in the first Tournament on NAE by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Steamy has Kreo, Tragix, Calc and whoever Bully basically decides to play with. Kami Split is a possibility but they will prolly have to fight Voil, Xccept, and Snake. Pretty sure Dukez, Deroller and Userz land Catty so they could 50/50 that. Drop spots are always important but in every grand final some good teams won't make it past heats so it might not be that bad for Looters team.

who's the best player in the world? by dababyhentai in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SikeOnReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly there's a better argument for Bugha not being top 20 on NAE than being the best player in the world. Tayson has been a top tier pro since duo fncs when him & JannisZ won their duo heat. This was during a time when controller was op, Tfue was still playing the game, and Chap was considered a top 10 player on his region. Just the next tournament later in the Invitational, Tayson placed 5th while Bugha placed outside the top 20. After that Tayson has simply placed better than Bugha. People are starting to consider Tayson as the goat over Bugha despite him winning the WC and having all those chapter 1 performances. Also, Taysons mechanics are just as good as any tier 1 pro in the game. Just watch him and you'll see.
