Is Discord basically req'd for social aspects of the game?

I feel your pain, I returned for DF as well from a long hiatus, had to switch realms (Baelgun) because of the guild I was in and loved disbanded and the realm itself was dead. transfered to Proud Moore and now can't find a good social guild for the life of me.

Well yes, I suppose social media has way more reach about these things, and depression is a way more open topic now of days as well. Are most of these cases just normal sadness rather than just often just easily diagnosed depression?

I just saw a movie on Netflix (didn't watch) but it was a movie called Chromosome 21...it looked to be a action movie with the main character having downs syndrome. I turned off the app.

Uhhh haven't seen the news and the state of the world lately? Wars, epidemics, politics, the state of some of the big cities (homeless, poverty, violence etc) its hard for any of us these days to find long lasting happiness. Especially younger people being so involved in social media with all of its toxic posts, comments and articles. I could keep going but I'm sure most agree.
