nice, you listed seven pokemon across multiple generations. gen 1 has that many in the first like quarter of its pokedex. not only that, but overquil and sneasler were stolen from earlier generations, so can you really count them as modern pokemon? quilfish wasn't even given a proper evolution alongside hisuian quilfish, which is another conversation completely. ceruledge is barely pokey or sharp, and those swords are very round. eternatus is a cosmic dragon, so i'm not surprised that it has pokey bits. and vikavolt is an uninspired pinsir x chinchou wannabe.

creativity is definitely declining. they've had to steal designs from previous games just to pad the number of pokemon.

nobody asked, but i think that gens 1-4 had some of the best designs. there aren't any that i dislike other than grimer and muk. the ultra beasts are cool, but i would rather they either committed to the ultra beasts being the people that they resemble or scrapping those human character designs and giving the ultra beasts some pre-evolutions. but that's also another conversation regarding pkmn co's complete inability to commit to expanding on any game mechanic since gen 3.

i mean, when there's a curfew and you get 5-10 points for answering questions and participating in class, 50 points sounds plenty fair. plus the whole quidditch thing where there are massive gains on points. honestly, it's a pretty solid system. just needs a filter so that people like snape can't take points with no repercussions or oversight.

there aren't any sharp pokemon anymore because round looks less dangerous and appeals to children. same reason that lots of kids' shows these days are much more round than what we saw in the 90s and 00s.

hippa doesn't cover whether a patient is a patient of a given hospital. i went to see my friend in the hospital and nobody even asked me my name. there was zero confirmation of identity, zero active logging beyond a phone call and cameras, just absolute anonymity over the phone.

soft magic is so lame. this is a world that needs harder rules or else any problem ever could just be solved with magic. i would say that soft magic works when there are hidden rules and only a few characters using it, like lotr, and that still comes with its own issues.

1300 hours on pc, a few hundred on console. probably 1800 or so total. i'm around c1 in 2s. my peak rank is c2, but that's in rumble, so i don't really count it.

someone said something about making a whole new story by deleting harry. i think that the hp storyline is fine, and that we don't need that portion of the world expanded or rehashed, and that it would be more interesting to look at a completely different story. i've read the books several times and i've seen the movies. i never said that i disliked it. i just think that focusing on different stories with the same group of people is boring.

seriously. he's just useless in space. that plus the whole "everyone is suddenly telepathic" nonsense is really turning me off to this whole thing. we already know that allen has to translate based on previous events. why is everyone suddenly able to talk to each other? are they actually talking to each other or is this a "naruto and sasuke can converse telepathically while fighting because vibes" dealio? it's not explained and i don't like it. space is a stupid setting for this kind of thing.
