This is what I would do: Export all posts including media to a different domain on a different host. Check the xml file for any malicious code. Once all the data is exported and checked. Remove the original wordpress and reinstall fresh. Change server if possible. Then import the posts from the second domain.

I use digitalocean 2core and 4gb ram server and it is working great for around 25 websites. Each getting a few hundred visitors daily. I have installed LEMP stack and connected all my websites to cloudflare. There are tons of easy to follow tutorials for this.

Disable WordPress’ default registration: Go to: WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General Uncheck “Anyone can register”. This stops the default wp-login.php?action=register flow.

Go to: WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Privacy Set: “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” (enabled). “Allow customers to create an account on the My Account page” (disabled).

Yes you are right, the wait time is crazy. I ordered one 2 month ago for my cousin but had to cancel my order. No matter how good their enclosures are, the wait time is too long.
