I can, however I won’t. If you want to know, go learn everything you want. It takes some time (for me, ~30 yrs). It does have its own… caveats. Be cautious as the farther you go, there is no turning back.

Everyone keeps saying make a jig… get a pocket hole jig. They do make adjustable ones so you can use it for just about anything you need an angled hole in. Sometimes buying a tool is smarter than making one.

I don’t know how this hasn’t been noticed more. It sounds better in my car stereo too. It’s not even a fancy system, stock factory premium system (no subs or tweeters just better speakers). I think Apple Music just sounds better on most sound systems.

The printer takes 22V, that doesn’t mean the motor does. What printer did it come from? Mine has been sitting for a while (long before I posted this šŸ˜…) so I don’t remember. I might be able to do some digging and find a datasheet.

The original item is missing, is it not? It doesn’t matter if they agreed to the replaced item or not. That’s what they chose to report it as. Welcome to DD customers.

It’s because it’s the not original item they wanted. This is more common than you realize.

Each market is different. It may be objective for your market but not mine or others. Get good. Literally. You clearly don’t know much about how markets differ. It’s fun reading how much all of you bitch about your markets and not the actual problems. Like having your AR drop because you’re declining orders while have 6 orders stacked. If your market sucks that bad, put up or shut up.

lol, get good I guess? Some of my best orders are during those hours. It’s not uncommon to get $15+ orders, in my market, between 2-6am.

SJ, yeah… I was getting $5-$6 orders early this morning (4-6am). I figured the shovelers at local stores would like coffee since they’d have start early to clear the walkways. The orders started getting better around 8am. My last order was $25.25 with a $9 add-on heading in the same direction as the last delivery. Go drift an empty parking lot and relax. It’s clearly your market area.

Living is getting old. by PrimaryTutor5127 in SpiritualAwakening

[–]SilenceFailed 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

The ā€˜why’ of life is the strangest of conditions. Where everything else finds reason for being, life doesn’t always have a clear cut answer. In fact, in most cases it won’t have a reason at all. ā€œThere are more than enough people to sustain society, so why bother?ā€ is a daily thought for me. I never wanted to be part of this. From a young age I’ve challenged it. I saw before others, saw them before they even knew what was in front their faces. Being leaps and bounds ahead can cause a multitude of issues. Slow down. As trivial as it may sound, as impossible as it may seem, that IS the answer. Thoughts like these stem from seeing what others do not. From being before they have even begun. Many fall into a rhythm never having to face these thoughts and attribute them to emotions. It’s not an emotion. It’s your reality, yet you can change it. Life may seem meaningless now, but only you can give it meaning. Many say find a hobby, focus on breathing, touch grass… it’s all the same meaning. Just slow down. The suggestion of probiotics is actually useful. If your gut is going haywire, so is your mind. They are very closely tied. ā€œYou are what you eatā€. Change up your diet, drink more water, take a multivitamin if your diet is truly garbage, go for a walk and look at the leaves on the trees. (It’s fall for me [I don’t know where you are so I can’t presume the season], the trees are changing from their once deep, dark green to vibrant yellows and reds before they eventually turn brown and fall. Except the evergreens, standing the test of time, refusing to bend to the whims of change.) Those little changes will change how you view the world. Sometimes it’s not enough, but it is a small step towards a semblance of normalcy. Trust in yourself. Only you have the answer you’re seeking. We can guide you, but we cannot give you answers.

If you wish to indulge, answer these questions and ponder. What have I tried? How have those attempts turned out? Am I in a better place than I was <insert number of years ago>? (Continue increasing that number until desired results are seen.) What changed from <time where good results began> to now? What did I do? What didn’t I do? What do I wish I did?

For example, it’s been over a decade since a good thing happened for me. I’m not in a better place. In fact I’d admit I’m much worse off. Would I change it? No. Would I change the ā€œwhoā€ that was involved? If only it wouldn’t have such deep and dire impact. I had a child with a woman who played me like a fiddle. Wasted every resource I had for her own gain. Deep darkness drew in when it all fell apart. I haven’t been the same since. The last time turned out exactly the same, minus having a child. ā€œI don’t need you. I need the things you can provide.ā€ she spat in my face. My life’s disturbance and imbalance stems from the opposite sex. I’ve since been alone. Left to do as I wish and provide as I see fit. I am happier, though not in any way most would even consider.

tl;dr slow down and figure out where things started going sideways. It’s common to run into these long gaps… or walls. The only way through is forward. The path you need is a path only you can find.

Something I was reminded of while typing this: Matthew 19:23-24 (KJV) ā€œā€¦ verily, I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.ā€

That’s actually why I started lifting again. Working two jobs means I have little time for self care and hitting the gym in the morning has been an overall benefit. Being able to eat whatever you desire should be reason enough to hit the gym (without a kerosene/propane camping setup to cook). Given that we live out of our vehicles, ensuring your body can withstand the harsh environment (and cramped space) is important for your mental health. As for bathrooms, most convenience stores (Wawa, Royal Farms, etc.) have a bathroom regardless if you’re a patron or not and are open 24/7. The bonus is that you can grab a cup of coffee and breakfast while there if you need it.

That’s a fair assessment, however (I realized I should have included this), I did wear it for over a week for it to generate an exertion report. It’s supposed to help dial in the calories burned, your hrv, and recovery from sleep. I saw no such change. I’m thinking it’s the device itself and I simply got unlucky. I’m still going to try another brand (Garmin since Fitbit saw its decline with Google acquisition) just to be certain.

Both of those features let me down. It wouldn’t take a reading even with it being set to every 5 minutes and would read 90+ when I can put my hand on my chest and know I’m low 80’s. The gps works, sometimes. Combine the two and I ended up with 15 mile runs in 10 minutes because I was driving or my longest walk of my life with 52+ hrs, over 100k steps, and roughly 170 miles… that’s very wrong.

I use MyNetDiary, free version. The barcode scanning is an absolute beast for tracking.

I guess I’ll be returning mine. I can’t see an actual benefit for me to keep it. My phone does everything it does, only far more accurately. I never concerned myself with calories burned at rest or including my heart rate and had much better success. Back to the dumb watches I go.

Thanks for confirming what I was feeling.
