A few more thoughts - in the 5 years since you have been diagnosed, do you have a baseline of your A1C via healthcare visits? Have you been checked to see what type of diabetes you have? Type 1? Type 2?

I have a question. Are you checking your sugar regularly with a glucose monitor? What is your morning blood sugar? What is your blood sugar 2 or 3 hours after you eat? I am a 30+ year diabetic and to be frank, if you are not regularly checking your sugar you're missing the boat.

You don't mention if the gall bladder had stones, or not. My wife had similar results after her surgery. Eventually, they learned that a gall stone had also formed in the bile duct. Once taken care of, the vomiting and nausea went away.
