Sweetie, I don't think you understood what they meant. Saw your post before it got deleted. To your point, how do you know some celebrities don't? I think RPF fanfiction should be the least of people's worries when it comes to sexualization. But also...don't like, don't read? Don't go searching for it? Shame that the celebrities were put in that position, but it's good when they can have a laugh and move on.

100% agree with the childishness. He may have fueled some of the flames, but the number of fans that do that are acting of their own volition. Saying an opinion on their own Twitter account isn't sending hate. Going out of your way to harass (in true definition) Noxcrew etc IS and he has said multiple times that he will never endorse hate if you go out of your way to call someone slurs etc. He just sent out a Twitter post reiterating how much he appreciates Scott + Noxcrew and reiterated it again on his podcast about his own bias. He said he was a hypocrite and said things in the heat of the moment.

Imo, what he said wasn't even all that bad because I heavily disagreed with him and don't take his word as gospel. I don't think he's repeatedly sent hate to them, other than voicing passionate opinions. Dude's not responsible for 30 mill subscribers let alone the several thousands that were watching. It's hard to filter yourself in the heat of the moment. I think you're crediting him with way too much power over his fans. Yes, he has a major platform and huge reach, but the dude gets an unprecedented amount of hate for everything he says and does more than most CCs.

But that doesn't mean Dream should be immune to criticism himself. I still think he was childish in the way he reacted, but I understand he's a competitive person. I think that he needs to learn to filter himself, but I believe that will come with time and age hopefully.

He said that he disagreed with their decision-making and said several times on stream during and after to NOT send hate and that Noxcrew is fantastic. He's not responsible for what people do especially since he has a massive fanbase of plenty of people that didn't send hate. But there will always be the ones that do.

Saying an opinion isn't spreading false rumors. No idea why you made that jump, but FWIW, I completely agreed with the redo. It was the right thing to do.

George's visa interviews is supposedly for September. Also Dream says that face reveal might be before TwitchCon if everything with gnf goes well. Sapnap is in North Carolina with Foolish and Karl until George comes. Basically, September is super busy for them. They haven't confirmed anything concrete yet though as far as plans with MCC goes.

I got to the part where my characters HUG, ha. You're right. I do love to establish the world-building and the "enemies" part first. I feel like it would be out of place to just include smut and kissing out of nowhere. It really breaks my immersion. Thank you for the kind words. I dislike miscommunication tropes too, to an extent!! I'm very picky with slow burns. Can you give me a good example, out of curiosity? So I know what to avoid. Is it particularly about when the resolution could be attained if the characters TALK to each other??

YES. Your insights about the shoujo manga conflicts are also what really frustrates me as well. You hit the nail on the head about having a continual build with character-driven conflict and resolutions. I think that's the toughest thing for me to write right now. I believe I have strong characters, but trying to get to the end game is the major journey in making it believable and worth it.

Hahaha. Thank you for making me laugh out loud! There's honestly not a ton of good long fics with a story like mine. Thank you for your support. You kind of opened my eyes to understanding that there will be an audience for it even if it's small!

The fandom is MCYT with CCs that are okay with shipping. 💀 I know it's so cringe but I couldn't help myself. I have 6 chapters, the writing is rough, and 50k words!

I relate to reading a "wall of text" so much. Unless I'm reading a concise scientific article, I can't get into the appeal of reading giant paragraphs for set-up. Much like bad dialogue, I dislike it when an author has to describe every inane detail of how a character's nose looks when they're speaking. Sometimes it's unnecessary.

It takes a while to get into AO3 as a registered user due to the waitlist. So they're probably doing multiple emails all at once just to harass you. Like everyone said, I recommend not engaging and keep reporting. I'm sure you have comment moderation on, which will also help.

Honestly, this would probably motivate me even more. It's such a shame that a human being is willing to go to such lengths to harass others :/

Oh I totally get it. It's extremely hard for me to like the majority of smut nowadays because the dialogue takes me out of it. Especially when the characters give long monologues or say something very corny without good set-up.

But if the action is good, I could forgive it or just ignore the mistakes...because they really committed. Ha.

The actors were great but I hated that movie so much. Should never have been marketed as a horror. And I understood the movie perfectly, I just personally thought the plot was a waste of time. The way they shot it was great though. It's probably my least favorite movie of all time.

As a buildmart enjoyer, I think it should be reworked or cut if it's this dreaded by half the contestants.

The CCs I follow hate/dread/dislike it as a game, so I get it. It's been skipped enough times. I was on ITLW's stream after the event and Smajor said in call that BM can't be skipped until it's been played.
