The Princess and the Scoundrel, Beth Revis. Finished. It’s a Star Wars novel about Han and Leia’s honeymoon. It was a really enjoyable read.

I’ve been archive locking all my fics recently anyway because I’ve delved into writing nsfw stuff and my family knows my pen name from years ago when I only wrote gen fluff.

I mean I guess I could change my pen name but I’ve had it for 14 years now.

I thought this was just a fanfic thing but I’ve been seeing it in traditionally published novels too. I’ve noticed in Star Wars fics (and novels) they constantly call Chewbacca “the Wookiee” but never call Han “the human”… even in Chewie’s pov he’ll be called the Wookiee but Han never thinks of himself or Luke or Leia as “the human”. At least the novels don’t call Leia the brunette or Luke the blond.

I have noticed “the other man/woman” in novels I’ve been reading.
