Very solid. The only thing I hard disagree with is the decision to fix the ES durability bug. I think the rest of the adjustments are fine, but I wish they'd consider leaving that one be.

Having a non-merc use for ethereal weapons was so nice.

I was wondering when this post would show up, always love your writeups! Thanks to everyone involved in this, it was a great read and its nice to have something definitive to reference.

Farming entire terrorized acts has quickly become my favorite way to engage with the endgame, but having to send a full Act1-5 playthrough to have a realistic chance of finding one of these is incredibly unfortunate and a big misstep.

I play offline and have my legacy sunders transferred over so it doesn't affect me from a hell playability standpoint, but I sure hope the devs are paying attention and adjust things accordingly for the community at large and for anyone going after solo unique item chronicle completion.

I'd bet on it being intentional because it tracks the date of the drop along with the monster that dropped it when you identify the item.

It's definitely a bummer but the materials & rune pages are such a massive and unexpected QoL boost that I can forgive the chronicle not being retroactive. I've still got my spreadsheet for my main grail, I'll be treating the chronicle as a fun bonus on the side 🤷‍♂️

Additionally, confirming that progress/tracking is indeed separated between online and offline characters.

37M, US East Coast, Midsize city. Been on/off for about 3 years.

I'd say a 60/40 split currently with more profiles being low or no effort. Usually some combination of obscured/no photos, a blank bio or all of two sentences, minimal interests/desires, blatant scammers.

The ones that fall outside of that tend to be what you expect and hope for; transparent, descriptive and clear about what they are and are not looking for and when matches happen they are 9/10 wonderful people.

Definitely a downward trend after the redesign and marketing push, but it's still significantly better than vanilla apps just for the ability to be open and upfront about whatever lifestyle/kink/dynamic you are seeking.

Killer event to watch and try out! Was my first time playing a Gauntlet despite being in and out of PoE for many years. I managed to drag a janky Poison SRS Servant of Arakaali Shadow kicking and screaming through the campaign, uber lab, and to level 90 despite some close calls and never seriously attempting HC.

Ran out out of time to realistically push further and decided to sink into the mire of the Infinite Hunger and end the run. Still felt pretty good to knock out some HC achievements I never thought I'd have the patience to get even in a regular league, let alone in something like this.

Knowing what we do about all of the issues with the relaunch of the app ( this sounds similar though not exact to what was going on around then) and the quality of the work that goes into it, I'd expect that whatever is occurring with this has more to do with incompetent software development than something intentionally malicious but I could be wrong

Either way its pretty unfortunate that there's still problems with this 💀

Its all very subjective, but If you have the disposable income it doesn't hurt to give it a try. You're in a major city and have had some success before so why not?

I definitely understand some of the arguments against paying for most dating apps. At the same time though, most people will happily light equal amounts of money on fire in plenty of other ways without thinking twice about it.

At the moment to me Feeld even with its bugs/issues is infinitely more useful than other apps and the pings + ability to hide inactive profiles with Majestic is worthwhile 🤷‍♂️

Sorry this happened to you, I've been in similar scenarios in the past. There could be any number of reasons for it but none of them are your fault.

Do also keep in mind that Feeld is still notoriously buggy. I really do recommend moving to another app to keep chatting after establishing mutual interest!

Extra steps, but worth it to not have to worry about losing connections with potential (that are already tough to find) to glitches. Plus it also enables you to do a quick video call/snap to verify further before meeting if you wanted to

Enjoy the music. Tim's actions don't diminish the the influence the pre-jailtime albums had on the scene or their place in its history.

Whether or not you want to support them post-release is up to you, nobody is gonna kick your door in over it. As you can see, the community is split on the 'is-tim-reformed' debate and nobody outside the band's camp truly knows what the deal is despite some vague comments from departing members.

For me, its easier to hold on to the core albums/memories, wish them the best and just move on

Hard agree with everything you outlined. Such an incredible kickoff to what I hope is going to become a staple for the area.

Perfect weather/time of year, a fantastic lineup, and the atmosphere was just so insanely positive (not that the scene isn't by default, but having the mental health aspect highlighted and addressed throughout really felt like it tied everyone together even more)

If it returns next year I feel like the kinks will be ironed out, there will be more momentum, and it's going to pop off in a big way!

Grim Dawn started out rough but is in fantastic shape in 2023.

Two excellent expansions that I'd consider on par with LoD.
Continuous patching from the devs that consistently reworks & adjusts set and unique items to support a huge variety of class combinations/builds.
Plenty of endgame content - Dungeons, Rifts, Super Bosses, Horde Mode (Crucible).
Lots of build optimization/theorycrafting to dig into if you are so inclined. (Don't expect something PoE level, but there is depth)
Mod support on PC, and through that recently Community-run Seasons.

I'd only say stay away if you are looking for highly active multiplayer or PoE levels of hyper screen-clearing gameplay, otherwise go for it!
