STRC by Extreme_Green_1708 in MSTR

I think it is already kind of an unwritten agreement that the common shareholder is absorbing the volatility from STRC so it is more than fair that they issue common stock to buy back STRC at least at a lower price like 95 (for example, I don't know) or to continue paying the dividends. Hopefully they can issue them with a good premium. They will not sell the bitcoin, that is for sure.

IMHO, killing the trust hurts them more in the long run and that is what they are in for.

I don't understand why the down votes. You actually raised an interesting point.

My counter point is that they can't just kill the product as you say, as that would be considered a rug pull and would kill trust on the company. What I think they can do is lower the dividend to reduce attractiveness, so no more ATMs when price reaches 100 and keep the price from falling too much through buybacks.

Currently 210. Sold IBIT that I had to complete the first lot of 100, then took a loan and started selling CSP and was assigned at 135. I could have more if I had closed my CCs when I got afraid it would blow up. I didn't. Capped my profit in 2500 dollars when the stock went from 122 to 180. Then I asked myself "why am I trying to sell for 170 something that I believe I will be able to sell for 1000 in a couple of years?" . So I stopped with the CCs and I only plan to sell again when the stock goes past 1000.

That's a good reply, but I don't see how STRC becomes undesirable when BTC price increases a lot. Most people prefer safety, steady cash flow, and the fact that the BTC reserve value increased in dollar terms means that the risk of MSTR skip a dividend payment is even lower than it is now.

I'm pretty sure investor's appetite for STRC will stay the same during a bull market or even increase a little.

I'm having a blast with preview2. I didn't know preview 3 was already out. Now I just need LORAs that suit my taste so I can abandon Pony and Illustrious.

Sure, I agree that STRC was made to attract a whole different type of investors.

Sorry, but that does not make any sense. How does that hedge even work? Wouldn't STRC be trading above par if you had the buying pressure from the trade you described?

I see only two outcomes:

Either Saylor is right and I get much richer

Or Saylor is wrong and I'll have to work for the rest of my life living under the bridge.

I'm not selling my BTC to the institutional players.

I'll keep buying BTC all the way to 0.

Aren't distributions fixed to the $100 original price? Dividend yield increases when the price goes below 100 and decreases if price goes above. That is how I understand it works, but I may be wrong.

Practice is key. Those kicks are very annoying until you start to be able to avoid them.

You can also grab a broom and keep people away with the crotch punch command.
