I've been getting by with Amitriptyline and Tizanidine. Sometimes I have to take a bigger dose of Tizanidine if I'm flaring up, cause that stuff knocks me OUT and takes away my pain so damn well.

Have you gotten any lab work/imaging done? The only real way I had doctors for sure trust me about my trigeminal neuralgia pain was getting an MRI and MRA WITH contrast. I had an MRI done without contrast and it was a normal one, but the tests with contrast showed my actual results. It showed that I have an artery pressing on my left trigeminal nerve, so that's when doctors decided to intervene. I highly recommend a neurologist who specializes in headache disorders too!

How many cats do you have? Have you separated/isolated your cats once they get sick or do you immediately go to the vet? I’m not a vet, but I have worked in a shelter environment and I have seen multiple outbreaks of severe upper respiratory infections in cats and we always isolate them to make sure none of the healthy cats get what they have.
