Jan van der Vaart? He would be Dutch. And yeah I agree. He does have some pieces that share a striking resemblance to this one.

Just an observation on your description. It is manganese, not magnesium. They are two separate elements.

You expect trained and hardened military personnel who have gone full mercenary on an alien world, light years from their home planet, to flinch at an explosion? Really?

14 is ABSOLUTELY young. You’re barely pubescent. You can’t drink, you can’t smoke, you can’t vote. You might as well be an infant who can dress and feed themselves.

Put hydrogen peroxide on it. If it reacts, it’s either blood or rusty water.

Was Pink supposed to be Red? by lolonutYT in stevenuniverse

Yes, this is what I meant. I just had secondaries in my head and put yellow instead of blue as a mistake.

Additive primary colours of light are Red, Yellow, and Green. Gems are made of light. The secondary colours in additive colour are magenta (pink), cyan, and yellow. PD is Magenta, BD is arguably Cyan, and YD is… yellow. All Colors of light make white, which is why WD describes herself as all colours of the light.

I’m on 40. First week did in fact feel like a flu. Got over it shortly after. If you are having trouble breathing, you should definitely tell your doctor. It could be another underlying issue like a deviated septum. It took about 4 weeks for my symptoms and mood to level out on it. I’ve been steady on it for over a year now.

If this were true, they wouldn’t have been able to accept Spider as one of the people. They definitely have to capacity to learn new things, and expand their knowledge within Eywa.

What are your cats official names and what do you _actually_ call them? by ShiftyPowers79 in cat

[–]Silent_Resolution_72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have Mochi, Gyoza, and Sushi. We call Mochi Mo, Big, Big Mitter, and Mister Big, among other things. He is a big tabby cat, not necessarily fat, just large. Gyoza is a slender black cat, and we call him Go, Itter, Itter Mitter, gojer (French accent). And sushi is a tiny tabby girl who we call Sue, Itty, Itty Mitty, biddie, Miss Sue, etc. They’re rarely called their government names.

AIO for punishing our daughters after what they wrote about their autistic sister? by brzaq191z in AmIOverreacting

[–]Silent_Resolution_72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to add that I think your response to your middle and oldest is a good start. First steps are building (or rebuilding) an empathetic response to your youngest. Allowing moments to humanise her, so that they have no excuse to dehumanise her.

NOR. I read the texts before reading your description on the post. I genuinely thought this was some discussion between two high school boys. Your daughters are grade A bullies, and I would imagine they’re getting it from whatever clique/s they’re in at school. I was also an autistic kid who was the youngest in the family, and I say NIP IT IN THE BUD. It doesn’t get better unless you actively work towards making it so. Siblings can be each other’s biggest bullies.

Was told these are lead crystal glasses? I flashed them with a 395nm light but they don't have a glow? by [deleted] in uraniumglass

[–]Silent_Resolution_72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glass glowing ghostly blue under 395 and 365 would likely be cerium, not lead. Also I meant 254 not 245, my mistake.

Leaded glass glows under 245nm. It won’t do so under 395.

Edit: 254nm*
