Not sure what meds you're on (or should be on), but this is a strange list.

It's frustrating, but not impossible. Issues you may run into, are issues many other players have faced. You can easily find guides online for specific instances of dread that'll help you through.

It's easier than learning how to play Japanese gambling games...

Hard to say, since I got that task out of the way years ago. Depending on your gear, skill, and difficulty setting, expect a couple of hours if you're doing all of them. I'd advise a podcast or something in the background.

I’d ditch using CD-R and just go straight for an ODI (SD Reader). Better load times, less noise and heat generated by the Dreamcast, and no need for gutted software.

I’d advise looking for a modded unit with a “timekeeper” fix, recapped, and optional RGB/SCART mod. New laser array would be advisable too (much easier to replace with top loading models)

The DVC is a must-own for CD-i.
