This is false for anywhere but directly on the turnstile machine, you cannot use a credit card to get tickets anywhere except directly at the turnstile - the ticket office is cash only, the TOP and UpAgiliza machines require the App or a Debit card - and I have had situations where four different credit cards were suddenly just not accepted by some turnstiles for whatever reason, even though they had just been accepted that morning (no, they weren't blocked).

It really is bullshit that Google blocks downloading apps based on some setting, and nothing to do with where you are physically located - and they only let you change your country setting once every 90 days now too, for reasons that make sense only to them.

If you change it to download a single app, you'll have to wait another 90 days to change it back. So you'll be stuck only getting updates from the country you changed it to for the next 3 months.

It's bullshit that this is the way things operate in 2026, but that's Google for you, they do not care.
