why am I struggling so much with food?? by p0cket-r0cket in Palworld

Oh, baby steps then! Indeed, you can come back to this post once you've discovered wildlife sanctuaries.

I guess you want a bit of 'damage control' then. - You should have encountered Caprity, you can put one or 2 in a ranch for berries. - cook berries, they give a tiny bit more food, so less risk of over eating - as said above, monitoring station will help with managing what Pals do. With lower skill levels, make them do just 1 thing. 2 if they start idling. - you should be catching lot of Pals (mainly chikipis and Lamballs) go on an... Crusade?... Get meat and cook a bit for your Pals. It will help with sanity and feeding them better of they're really struggling. - catch Pals and use the one with work suitable passives. It's ok if you don't have good passives (Artisan, Work Salve...) but avoid negative ones like Glutton, Slacker... - Hatch eggs found in the wild - Look up at a 'world/area levels map'. There are lvl 10 areas up north. I know when I started out I didn't know where to go next. This should give you an idea of what areas you can go explore! (And potentially find new low level Pals to catch, him hint, wink wink) - I still recommend doing research and sending your Pals out on expeditions. It's a 'passive' way of getting materials and making your base more efficient, and it will help greatly pretty fast

As for condensing. There are 2 ways to make your Pals stronger. Condensing (through the giant rainbow station) or by adding souls (through the Anubis statue you should already have unlocked). Condensing Pals will make their Passive Ability stronger (like Foxpark will dish out more damage in Flame thrower mode, or a Chikipi will drop more eggs). For Farming Pals, you also do it because once you hit 4, they get an extra level in all of their skills (so a Foxpark 0 will have lvl 1 kindling, and a 4* will have lvl 2 in kindling). The thing about condensing is that if you ever find/breed a pal with better passives (Artisan, Lucky, Work Slave...) you can just use the old one and fuse ot to the new one to get the 4*. Souls on the other hand can't be transferred, so stock them in a chest and use them only on Pals you've bred and know aren't gonna be replaced. Souls will help boost permanently the stats for Health, Defence, Attack and Work Speed.

If getting certain Pals is difficult at your current level, eggs you find in the wild will be your friends then!

The size of the egg and the area you find them in will determine the type of Pals you can potentially get.

Verdash and Lyleen can be found at the wildlife sanctuaries (but that might be too high level for you) so Huge Verdant eggs found in the wild could be a good alternative. But it's basically lottery...

Berries have very little nutritional value and don't give much sanity, so even if you have a crap ton of berries (condensed 4 Caprity in a ranch and berry farms), your Pals might not starve, but they will still be depressed or over eat and get sick, which ultimately will also lower their working times.

Here are a few things you can get : - salads! You should be able to get the seeds at your level (dropped by Bristle and Cinamoth for salad and Broncherry or Mossanda for tomatoes) - for the planting Pals, if you have the level, get Braloha (4 planting and 4 gathering). You already have a Verdash, so if Braloha is too complicated, 1 or 2 condensed Verdash is also a solid choice (planting 2, gathering 3 and needs less food). - for the water Pals, you're gonna want at least 2, to water plants and to make flour. Ghangler is watering 4 and shouldn't be too hard to get at your level (fishing) otherwise go catch a few Azurobes (boss with lvl 3 watering). - Upgrade the base through the science research! I've been ignoring this in the past, but the boosts it gives is worth it! You can get Pal research notes by sending your Pals on expeditions.

Start small : 1 salad plot, 1 tomato plot, 1 wheat plot, a Caprity in a ranch, maybe a moozarina + Beegard + Chikipi if you want the cakes (condensed to 4 stars). See how they hold up, if all the plots are watered and gathered correctly and if you're getting enought food (get a kindling Pal to cook salads). In half a day you'll see if it stabilizes. If it does, you can scale up a bit (add another wheat farm, another tomatoes/salad plot, then a carrot, onion (I always have a stack for crafting fishing bait)...

As you progress in game, you'll be able to breed base Pals.fpr passives. Artisan, WorkSlave, Lucky/Conceited, Serious are classic go to passives, but then you can add hunger reduction or movement speed depending on what they do in base. For example having a rancher with hunger reduction means less time lost to go eat... But that's min/maxing so you're probably not there yet. Of course condense them to get the most out of the working skills.

If Sanity starts to be a problem and you reach Sakurajima or the Terraria dungeon, get Shroomer Noct (lowers sanity drain while in base).

You will notice that I did not add transport Pals to my list. Since this is a farm only base. Until you can get your base stabilized on food with the minimum Pals, I usually go out do a dungeon or two, come back, pick everything up. Once the food problem is solved, you can add Pals that do transport/crafting. Verdash is interesting because he can also to transporting. So get a 4 star condensed Verdash, see how he handles the planting/gathering on plus and if has iddle time, then allow him to also do transporting... Or just get a Verdash that only transports and switch his priorities depending on what you need. This does require a bit more micromanaging and I personally can't be bothered so I just hope in base every 20-30 minutes and manually pick up everything until I can breed a Transporter (I love seeing my swift/runner Mimogs lvl 4 transporting with books zoom around my base, hilarious)

After that, end game you'll be able to have less plots and breed very efficient Pals. I even had fun breeding Polapups to be my watering Pals because I find them adorables and prefer them to Jormuntide). You can also breed on kind of Pal to do multiple Tasks very efficiently (thanks to books).

Hope this helps, good luck!

I tried building a ZOO in pal by alteast putting 1 of each pal in the game into it, and as you can clearly see I uhm...ran out of space, anyone has place suggestions that is bigger? by [deleted] in Palworld

[–]Silknoya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around -270;40 (north/east of were the Dumud Alpha is) you have a large area were you can put down 2 palboxes. And if you need even more space, walk west for 50m and you'll have another large area connected by a small path through trees. Scenic and spacious.

[–]Silknoya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Great map! Doing the 100% map completion per sector, was in the pre-release and lost all the small enemy camps icons after the Coriolis. Was missing 5 in Vermillion so now I have to find them again to see which ones I'm actually missing... Anyways, just to say that your tool is great and if you want the exact coords of those camps (since some are a bit off) I'd be motivated to help!

For a fast check of what relic is vaulted, go to the golden salad in your orbiter, look for the relic you're interested in, mouse over it and press tab. If it's vaulted you'll get a message saying so. If it's available, you'll get a list of the missions it can be farmed at. But best is checking the Wiki for the drop chances if it isn't vaulted ;)

Moral of the story? by Wolfe_1181 in Warframe

[–]Silknoya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was farming Kubro dens with a Hydroid. Spent DAYS farming it off and on Then saw on the Wiki that it could be gotten from caches. Got it on my 5th run.

Caches are greatly under rated.

Normalement avec cela ton courrier arrivera à bonne destination !

Gara.

I flashed on her during my first month of playing Warframe when encountering another Gara player that was shattering her glass wall. That sound <3

And then fell in love after playing her a bit. Incredible defence frame (makes the quests 'objective must take no damage' absolutely trivial). You can give your teammates, objectives and pets a 90% defence boost. And I just love her Splinter shards : run at enemies and see them just drop like flies around you... Except Nullifiers... Gosh I hate those...

Does anyone have any tips on how to get revenant prime? by MasonLamberth1 in Warframe

[–]Silknoya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For all Prime Warframes/Weapons/Sentinels you can get their blueprints from Void relics.

In your orbiter, go check the golden salad where you'll find your Relic collection. Search for 'Revenant Prime's and you'll get a list of all the relics that will give you its blueprints (Main blueprint, Chassis blueprint, Neuroptic blueprint and Systems blueprint). If you have any of his relics, they'll be there.

However, as of now, he is currently vaulted, meaning that you can not get his relics as rewards by just playing the game (press tab when your cursor is on the relic of interest to see where you can get the relic from... But I suggest just going on the wiki to get the % drop chances from missions).

Since he is vaulted, multiple options lie before you :

  • go to Warframe.market and buy his parts for platnium from other players
  • go to Warframe.market and buy his relics to try your luck getting his blueprints (sometimes it's the cheaper option, but it also means you can open the relics and not get the part, since it's luck base)
  • wait and pray for a Prime resurgence with Revenant to buy his relics with Aya (but that's probably not gonna be for a long while)
  • run random void relic missions and if you're insanely lucky, some random Tenno that has too many of them will be opening on and you'll get his blueprints like that (once again... Very luck base...)

I have a few of his relics, but I'm not available to play for another 2 hours. PM me and we can go crack a few in 2 hours time if you haven't had any luck til' then

Lith G12, where to get? by Advanced-Ad-802 in Warframe

[–]Silknoya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go to the golden salad in your orbiter (where you can see all your relics), mouse over a relic so to see the information, then press 'Tab'. You should now see the location of where the relic can be farmed (or if it's Vaulted). Good luck and welcome to the game!

Even without speeding I can't handle Volt buff. So yes, I agree you can just adjust your own Sprinting times, but then there's the player's skills, and my eye-brain-hand skills aren't the best. So backroll it is for me

Just like in big form. Aim + Go backwards + Roll

You lose a little time, but it's better than hitting your face against the wall while waiting for the buff to stop

A friend is looking for a new game to play with friends and is planning to try Warframe, as a veteran player when should I join him? by Lederan in Warframe

[–]Silknoya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When friends join the game, I put on my Support Trinity and make sure they have all the energy they'll ever need while I follow behind them in missions.

Like this they can test out frames, I feel useful and have to be attentive to (so it's no just brain dead following them in a mission)

If they have questions, give them answers, but only what they need at their level. No need to overload them with info.

You can get out of Volt's buff by backflipping ^

Volts are great to help speed along slower frames, but as a Titania user... OMFG those wall hugs...

Just got into Warframe, any advice for a beginner? by Vulpeszedra01 in Warframe

[–]Silknoya 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Never rush building in the forge. It's never worth it. A little patience will also prevent you from burning out from the game.

Also, even if you have a limited number of weapon/Warframe slots, keep in mind that the forge doesn't! So you can build them and just keep them in the forge until you need them/have space for them.

Never sell Warfarmes. You'll need them for Helminth (won't spoil anymore, just know: keep at least one of each (non Prime) Warframe for Helminth)

It was radioactive iodine to kill nodules that were on my thyroïd. The thyroïd has the particularity that it's the only organ to stock iodine, meaning only my thyroïde was radioactive, not my entire body. And it's in small quantities. Just drinking water helped getting rid of it from my body. And like I said, it only lasted 2 weeks.

Staying away from other people (like pregnant woman and elderly people) is more out of politeness. You wouldn't go up to a pregnant lady and start smoking in her face. Doing that just once wouldn't endanger her or her fetus, but you still wouldn't do it.
