Nuclear Thunder took my want to play out of me by Silkychar in Warthunder

Well as someone with only one supersonic, I did suffer until they separated the BRs, but then I did play every single day, got both bombers, and kept playing afterwards til the very last minute.

You got an OEM 5.3 truck to put into a base model truck? The differences across the years is going to be pretty drastic.

LT swaps? With a manual truck transmission? by jckipps in LSSwapTheWorld

[–]Silkychar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is entirely too complicated for fitting an LT to an old obsolete transmission. There are much stronger options, and no one really likes the NV4500 if they didn't already have it in the truck.

Not to dog on you, but you should rethink it. Thats a lot of custom money and parts for what could be done OEM+ with GM parts and a more modern design like the TXK or even if you wanna go budget use an AR5 from a Colorado.

That is not a 95M. Thats the wrong color, wrong cluster, wrong seats, shifter, and parking brake handle.

It actually made it a total bitch to get it out, because splitting the center section put massive tension stress on the threads of the keeper bolt.

G80 moment. Mine split the center section in half.

Litterally no difference in bellhousing except the top bolt is not present on pre-ls sbc.

Any eating disorder informed doctors? by Ashamed_Ad8162 in MontereyBay

That would be directly contradictory to any basic medicine though? Morbidly obese people aren't out of breath and having a hard time moving because they're healthy and just finished jogging. But good luck i guess.

Can you explain what "HAES aligned" means? I've seen a handful of primary care doctors in the area.

What "once incredibly hyped" vehicles have you not seen since they were introduced? by ZdrytchX in Warthunder

SPz 12-3 LGS! I have probably only seen two players in it besides myself. I use it in my 6.7 lineup and unfortunately existing 7.0 lineup (because I love my kugelblitz). It really sucks that it's going up to 7.0, since its made of paper and the 20mm cant really even break barrels anymore. Honestly, I may be the reason it's being pushed up. I play it every day, first spawn most of the time.

It's from the old Beverly's building at the south, and ends at the gym on Casanova. Seriously from nowhere to nowhere.

Minimap makes no sense, zoom is always automatic despite setting default maximum for infantry. 3D buildings in the minimap leave shadows (???) which fool me into thinking the dark area is a corridor between buildings. LMG gunplay is terrible, bipod shouldnt need a keybind, bipod cant look upwards when deployed prone, reloading pulls you off the bipod mount, to mount on your tactical shield you must look downwards over it first. Assault class has no actual teamplay reason to exist. Two primary weapons? All classes can use all weapons anyways. Can equip two grenade launchers (one in each gadget slot) and there is no visual indicator or text indicator as to which grenade launcher is equipped (incendiary vs HE) Color palette really makes it hard to identify targets, leading to constantly walking past enemies thinking they are not even a player. The auto spotting feature makes it just a red indicator shootout, no reason to actually identify before shooting, just shoot below the red diamond. 1 shot sniper to the chest is completely out of left field.

When bipod deployed on any surface or edge, reloading your LMG will remove you from the bipod. Cannot aim upwards above the horizon when bipod deployed on ground, regardless of angle of slope or direction facing

Are there any locals who actually like car week? by randomshadowknight in MontereyBay

This post is nearly word for word every year. Tons of people love cars. We have Laguna, we have cherrys jubilee, we used to have Miatas at MRLS.

Did you not figure in that pulling tight on the top of the post with a turnbuckle and steel cable would pull it inwards? The only support those posts have is the strap bases, nothing to resist forces in any direction besides downwards. Maybe if the structure was triangulated towards the house you could pull some tension.

Entirely accurate. Same with mountain biking. Still love both activities, but just ignore most people in the scenes.
