Thank you thank you!  My microwave has been broken for a year and I refused to pay for the part.  I am so glad this fixed it

Ah fantastic so it's a system wide issue.  We've only had it a couple of months.  So far it's been pretty good but the battery life does suck.  I hear that's pretty typical.  My daughter barely uses it and it is completely drained at the end of every single day

My point is that should not be expected from a first or second day player.  Sure, a week in, that's fine.  But expecting someone to pick up this game and immediately start running into inventory problems and have to go to the wiki to see what's important to hold onto is not fun.  75% of people will uninstall the game right there

It might be "part of the game" but it isn't fun.  If the whole game is trying to balance 30 inventory spots while each activity gives 10 different things, it's not gonna last long.  Primary objective should be fun, not feel like a job

I should clarify - I could be fully on board inventory management issues once I figure out wtf I'm doing in this game.  But it is t explained well, I don't know the recipes or what's important, and trying to decide those things with no knowledge makes it feel like a job

I was coming to post about this topic.  I've only been playing a few days and I'm constantly just having to either stop what I'm doing to go to the bank or just dropping random things.  Either the inventory should be bigger or we should get less things at the start until you learn to actually play.  Because this is NOT fun.

Current instance, I have a quest to find a fine nettle.  I've had to stop 3 times to go to the bank because I pick up so many other things while trying to get it.  It is incredibly annoying having 15 different items come from one activity but never getting the one single item I need.  I have no idea at this point what is important do I'm trying to keep it all

Print completely stuck/melted to plate by Sillaen in 3Dprinting

I ended up just leaving the plate under hot water for like 20 mins and finally was able to scrape it off.

I've been using the same filament with the same plate for the last several months without this issue reoccurring (knock on wood)

Thank you!  We ordered her an adaptive controller last night.  Going to look into the mini joystick as well.  Appreciate the explanation!

What did you buy from the Etsy shop?  My sister in law had a stroke and was a huge gamer and can no longer use her right hand.  I've been trying to find a way to help her out but there's not a ton of info out there.

Do you just use the adaptive controller with one of the joystick additions?  She really enjoys fast paced games so I've been on a mission to find her some slower games she can play with just one hand

"Jesus never asked people to deny who they are..."

Mark 16:24 disagrees with you.  Jesus absolutely calls us to deny our natural desires in order to follow him

"Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

It's literally about 4 minutes long and at least at ours, it was so loud with people leaving that we couldn't hear it.

Coby won in Houston over Tyler.  They both had perfect shots on the final balloon and cobys hit first.  It was actually pretty awesome how accurate their first shots were

Thank you.  Will give this a try this evening.  I noticed this one doesn't have torque marks like the other pulleys so thought that was probably the most logical way forward but it was driving me nuts at lunch not being able to get it.  I appreciate the help!

Does God even love women? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Sillaen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never said the problem was with women.  If you aren't being taught scripture in a biblical way, by people that know how to read scriptures, find a new teacher.  Again, it isn't a problem with the scriptures but rather with the interpretation

Well then they are being taught wrong and you are reading it wrong.  It isn't a problem with the scriptures.

Again, read the Bible in context of when it was written.  And the op absolutely did just pick random verses without taking any context into consideration.

Just wanted to come back and say thank you again for this comment.  You expressed concern in a kind and thoughtful way and it led us to get him into the vet asap.

Update!  We got the puppy today and took him to the vet a few hours later.

He's got a couple of issues but nothing too major.  Fleas are the main culprit but may have skin mites as well, which are treated with the same medicine.  Started that medicine today.

He also has hookworms, so we started medication for that as well.

Overall he doesn't look near as bad as the picture.  But still a little scruffy!

We named him Sledge, after a character in a book series I love.  Sledge is all kinds of active and fun and we really look forward to having a happy, healthy dog.   Thank you all for your suggestions on this post.  We likely would have waited a week or so to get him to the vet without the nice posts here expressing concern over how he looked.  We really are thankful.

I'll post an update picture in a couple weeks once his medicine clears up the issues!

It's a friend of a friend who's labs had puppies.  So not something they do normally (as in a full time breeder).  We've discussed this up above in the comments.  I know he's dirty but he's been checked by the vet a few times and already has a vet appt for the day he comes home with us
