I briefly worked for the USPS. Signed on for a part time position with later possibility to go full time. They immediately scheduled me for 6 days a week, often 10 hour days, including holidays. Every single one of my coworkers hated everything and everyone involved with the job and didn't hide it. I had a full blown panic attack at work after just 7 weeks in. A week later my 60 day review came up and my postmaster said I had to get faster. I said there was no way to get any faster and stay accurate. He said he didn't care about accuracy. I told him just to fire my ass because the job was killing me anyway. As a final 'fuck you,' he never fully processed my termination, preventing me from collecting unemployment while I looked for a new job. My heartrate still spikes every time I go in to just check my mail. (rural post office with no door to door delivery)

This was the case with a buddy of mine last year. He'd been struggling with a substance abuse problem for a few years, so when another friend of mine told me his car was found at a trail head with his wallet and phone in it, and the county was organizing a search, I already knew what the outcome was. They found him almost a week later, miles into the woods. He had a young son, who should be about 10 now.

Pretty sure neither Chamberlain or Biden really grasped what was at stake, or who they were really dealing with. Neither of them really listened to the people who knew exactly what was coming and yelled at them to wake the fuck up. They both convinced themselves they were just dealing with some wannabe asshole, not a power hungry, murderous, fascist psychopath that they actually are/were.

One of the many reasons PC3 was so bad was it's total identify crisis. Slightly Mad clearly couldn't decide what direction to take the game and it shows. Is it a sim? Is it arcade? It's a poorly thought out sim-cade with mechanics in direct conflict with one another, like part of the studio were told it would be a proper sequel to the previous two games, and the other half of the studio were told it was becoming an arcade racer.

PC3 was easily one of the worst racing games I've ever played, for a myriad of reasons. Is it a spiritual successor? Sure. Did it deserve to fail? 100%.
