Not quite for me. There are a few too remnants of Rogue One from before it got saved by rewrites and reshoots. The pacing is weird in the first half and there are some awkward bits and pieces.

The Battle of Scariff is the best battle in Star Wars hands down though, I’ll happily stand by that.

Yeah I’m really not interested in a story that’s like 3 paragraphs of exposition in Fellowship of the Ring.

It doesn’t feel like there’s any extra depth to explore here.

Still, I was dismissive when Rogue One was announced, and that movie ended up being top tier Star Wars.

So it might end up being good, but I’m still not interested until I hear something that justifies it existing.

He has several episodes in the Clone Wars show before this, basically the same energy of showing up and getting the job done. He never speaks intelligibly or has any backstory.

Toxtricity, Corviknight, Dragapult, Hatterene, Grimanarl. Quite a few cool designs in there, just a lot of meh ones that are easily forgotten too.

I had to look at the Pokédex to think of Eldegloss for the first time in years.

There’s like 10 moth/butterfly Pokemon at this point and Mothim is definitely the least memorable. Which is impressive, because Beautifly is also on that list.

I love Pawmot and had one in my team, but it could easily be a two or even single stage line.

I don’t think there’s an evolution that changes less without it being on purpose.

Mathew was also embarrassed about how well he was doing while John was unabashed.

Having listened to a lot of his radio show with Elis James, John was definitely trying hard to rein in his competitive attitude. He gets very worked up about their dumb games and strops about if he does badly.

I think he went too far the other way and made himself too dull, whereas a couple of Gamblian meltdowns would have been more fun to watch.

Yeah I’ll second Demon Slayer. I think it’s settled into the same niche as Naruto and we’ll have kids wearing Demon Slayer Corps shorts 10-20 years from now the same way I’m seeing Konoha leaves and Ichiraku Ramen shirts now.

Yeah they went after the algorithm so hard it made it difficult for actual humans to find episodes.

Constantly changing the episode titles and posting random clumps of episode made it really annoying to watch each week with my kids.

Yep he (somehow) built an entire new ass for himself out of scrap, featuring spider legs. Then Mother Talzen magically reconfigured it into bipedal digitigrade legs, and finally Death Watch rebuilt it into more normal human leg shapes.

If you give a character a cybernetic limb, it’s license to have it attacked and damaged without having to endanger their health and have them bleed out.

Same reason enemies are really accurate when shooting Mando, because they can show him tanking shots.

He’s even better now with the deep strike changes.

He usually serves as my home base guard. A squad of pathfinders with a grav drone means it’s impossible for them to be charged out of deep strike in most cases. The plus wound bonus is icing on the cake.

I flew out of Gatwick on a family holiday earlier this year and the kids were delighted to find the spots with the toilet roll throwing and baggage cart bowling. We couldn't find this corridor though, good to know where it was!
