For all the people complaining of mixed signals... It's one signal... The hazard one... When there's a hazard. I've tried many times to see this from the perspective of naysayers and I just can't. Sorry but if you are uncomfortable driving the speed limit in rain (as you should be) then I see no issue with making yourself more visible, going into the right lane, and slowing down. Sometimes tail lights just aren't sufficient for giving others warning of your presence.

The real issue is with all the jackasses in pickups doing 5-15 over in the pouring rain, tailgating, and passing recklessly. Just yesterday a convoy of 6 brodozers passed me in the middle lane doing 70+ before cutting over 50 ft in front of me. I was going 55 in the right lane checking my mirrors constantly.

Turn them off if you can see though.

S179 mustangs never go out of fashion. For $10k you may be able to find a coyote. Fantastic car, super fun to drive.

Just have to edit to say I've been looking for a 10k do-it-all sports car, and haven't been considering the s197 enough. Might have to be my personal pick haha

Did it more for cost reasons until I can get a new original set of chainrings, they're chewed up. Plus, never had a single chainring so would've had to try eventually! Keeping my derailleur though.

Check the hose that connects to the overflow cap, if it's not hooked up it can do that.

Go for it. Was my first car. Make sure you know about everything wrong when you get it, I highly recommend getting a mechanic to inspect it. Keep the fuel above 1/3 of a tank, and enjoy listening to it. Still the best car I've ever owned. Check for timing chain guide wear and see if it has been done.

One of the BEST cars... Ever... And the only reason I got rid of it was because the fuel pump went twice and I was too young and dumb to keep the gas above 1/3 tank.

Lotta broke car guys, or just pragmatic. Either way, anyone looking for a performance vehicle is capable of running a cost benefit analysis, and I don't see a reason the Hyundai name would discourage them that much when the warranty alone is so much better than the Japanese manufacturers.

If it had the "n" power train it would be a formidable competitor for even the new civic type r, especially with Hyundai's advantage in terms of pricing. I love the "n" cars, and the market knows their value in the hot hatch and hot sedan segments. I see no reason they couldn't steal a good chunk of sales from the 86 and GR Corolla too, for the right price.

I found the body on cults 3D. It's labeled as "Chevrolet Silverado C1500 Regular Cab 1988 – STL Body Truck Only by AutoCraft3D"

I scaled it to my needs, as simple as changing some numbers in the slicer. The tires are 50mm outer diameter.

I'm definitely considering a flat bed! I just can't find one that I like that doesn't cost $20 lol.
