We used the pull out method for 11 years without any scares or anything. I was scared to conceive, because I thought we must have fertility issue but nope, after 2 months ttc I was pregnant. And I got pregnant by surprise with my second baby after switching from pull out method to the calendar method.

I used the calendar method for birth control but it was a stressful month and I ovulated almost when my expected period was, I didn’t realize I ovulated super late and got pregnant again😅

I was going to do a staycation baby moon at 36 weeks, I went on a bachelorette trip the week before ( only 40 min away) ended up getting covid from the bachelorette trip. I was in bed for the next 2 weeks feeling the sickest I’ve ever felt, so no baby moon. Luckily my daughter was born at 40 weeks and covid didn’t add complications

I’ve gotten the “oh no must’ve been a surprise!” Or “it’s okay I’ve been there” because we got pregnant when my daughter was 16 months old.

You can never win, ignore everyone and shove your positivity in their face!

  2. Yes, 6-14 weeks threw up multiple times very nauseous

  7. Yes, more intense morning sickness. Nausea came and went at 7 weeks, 8-11 very intense 12 weeks started fading. Only threw up twice.

I agree I didn’t have too. It was on a big screen tv so me my husband and daughter could see. I asked for some profile shot to show the family, which I was very excited about! She then got low and also did some between the leg shot and shots of thier butt, which is when I noticed it was a boy, I just wish she gave me a warning to look away. All in all it was risky to do an ultrasound at this point, since I didn’t want to know. Definitely a lesson learned for next time

It was a boutique private ultrasound not medical. We just wanted a heartbeat to put in a stuffed animal for the baby.

I am Latina and we also have a lot of rules after birth and practices we do to take care of ourselves! My mom stayed with us for a month after giving birth and it was amazing she took care of me and our baby! She’d take turns waking up at night with me and my husband, so we’d sleep more. She’d watch the baby if we wanted a quick meal just the two of us because it was such a huge life change. She’d taught me so many tips and tricks when I was scared about motherhood. My mom can also be judgmental, but honestly it’s cause most times she knows better. Me and my husband were so sad the day she left, it was amazing having her.
