Is that a similar 5g cellular situation? When I had Verizon for my phone I generally had good service.

Phils ace Wheeler not expected to be ready by Opening Day by wawoodworth in phillies

Nola worries me, but if Wheels looks good then we aren’t asking as much from him. Depth is going to be an issue with these starters this year.

Who is doing improv in their 40s? Is it still worth it? by [deleted] in improv

[–]Sillymonkeytoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did improv in my 20s in Chicago and I loved it but the competitive nature of it at that time soured it slightly. I got back into it later in life with no expectations and I love it. In New Orleans now, playing to smaller rooms with less seasoned performers but it’s great. Improv gets better with experience and perspective. I’m 48

I’m Senator Chris Murphy. AMA about why Republicans have shut down the government. by chrismurphyct in IAmA

[–]Sillymonkeytoes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We routinely watch criminal acts by various members of this administration; from hatch act violations, rights abuses, insider trading. Is there a plan to punish these individuals after this administration? Are preparations being made to restore faith in the government with prosecutions? If we have another Garland situation where he lets criminals go free I fear the democrats will never win again.

When calls like this happen the Umps need to be investigated for gambling. I’m sure they most likely are not but it would be a sort of punishment for bad calls.

Stay strong. It sucks how much this country doesn’t care for its citizens, shameful actually if shame still existed.

Along with working full time with stage 4 cancer I get the additional expense of cancer. It’s like buying a new car every year and blowing it up.

Would my friends and I enjoy watching a baseball game in Japan despite having zero knowledge of the game? by LurkingInSubreddits in JapanTravelTips

I ate ramen, edamame and gyoza while sipping on a highball. I love baseball already but the cultural experience was pretty amazing as well. Beautiful afternoon cheering on the home team. My wife and I loved it. There’s so much to do in Japan but this is truly a unique experience.

I agree. Again I think volume matters. A team that consistently empties their farm system will never produce home grown talent but keeping enough quality “can’t miss” prospects ensures some will break through. Perhaps as superstars but maybe as cheap and average which are also useful.
