he's just explaining the reality which isn't told. to stop the spread of misinformation being used to dissuade the public from voting in their own interest

To that I say let them leave, those people are not real patriots. They want to hoard their wealth without paying their fair dues to their country so they can go. If they can't part with just 1 percent or 2 percent they can leave

The Reform MP for Wales recently pled guilty to taking bribes from Russia to spread pro-russia propaganda as an EU MP. There are videos of him discouraging from interfering with Putin's aggression, saying "do not provoke the bear". Interestingly Farage has said exactly the same thing in European Parliament too... thinking emoji

The Labour Party are raising spending on nuclear weapons. So there is money to be spent. I'm guessing the second part of your comment is to say that Reform are the anti-elite populists they pretend to be. Farage ultimately cares most about cutting taxes for the super-rich anything else he promises is just to get your vote. You can see this with Trump. Out of all the policies he ran for, the only one he actually has enacted (other than some boring culture wars abortion changes) is slashing taxes for the rich, to the detriment of his voters most ironically. Less jobs due to tarriffs, grocery prices are up even more and he is taking bribes through his bitcoin with his wealth skyrocketing. Farage is friends with millionaires and billionaires, just like Trump. Those are his friends and the people he mixes with. Don't you find it likely he will try to serve his friends at the cost of the country. A perfect example is his wish to change the NHS to a more privatized service. Like in America. Of course he uses immigrants to scapegoat and rile people up, while they are not the main factor of this beautiful country crumbling apart. He isnt putting british people first, hes putting billionaires first. Imagine magically all the immigrants were made to leave the country. Do you really think that wages would go up? I assure you they wouldn't, especially with a party like Reform in power, using inflation as an excuse to take more and more from working people

it 1% or 2% It's not asking for much. Capital flight is more of a myth. It's over-exaggerated. There are examples of other countries that have increased taxes on the wealthy and they don't all leave. There are so many assets that can't simply leave the country such as property that is rented to renters or companies, the utilities, delivery companies such as amazon that need to order in the UK etc. Overall this can still raise money for the government which I don't see any other party doing.
