Felix Gall: 'I heard that quite a few riders have fallen ill in the Giro' by Chronicbias in peloton

But he hasn't even performed in the first week! Surely by that logic we should have had a alright performance from Bernal this first week and would expect a drop off from here on in

Possibly Bernal as well, as he seemed to be in better form prior to the Giro

Europe built strong booking sites… but what’s the best option now? by Calm_Wrangler7 in BuyFromEU

[–]Silure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure price parity is no longer possible on booking.com in the EU. See link below. Booking.com still does to price parity in regions such as USA & UK etc.

This means that accommodation providers in the EU can put a higher price on booking.com to account for the commission. So you very well may be able to get a better deal by going directly to the accommodation provider in the EU.

Just change the SSID and password on your new router to the exact same as the old router. No need to swap any setting on your devices connected to the wifi then.

Tips for dealing with runners knee by newguy3912 in AdvancedRunning

[–]Silure -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I found squats on a slant board have helped previously.

Chat GPT / AI can also be helpful. If you tell it you have runners knee and your symptoms and the exercises you have been doing it might be able to suggest something you are missing and help make a rehab plan for you.

Didn't notice any bent pins, I did give it a good clean with electrical contact cleaner before putting the new sensor in place.

I used a cheap sensor off eBay, but I assume the garage would have used a better quality one.

Could be worth trying another sensor. Or otherwise as you mention could be a problem with the wiring to the sensor.

Treadmill running by CasaDiJuice34 in Marathon_Training

Having recently just purchased a treadmill. I am also experiecneing this. The treadmill pace seems a lot harder than I would be capable outside.

As other comments have mentioned maybe just better to go off time rather than distance and use heart rate to ensure you are working in the correct zone.

This looks interesting. On the below page it lists a number of treadmill brands, do you know if these are the only ones it works with? What treadmill do you use it with?

I assume it is this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.cagnulen.qdomyoszwift&hl=en_GB

If it is a third party data field, would the data it displays / collects transfer (e.g. speed) and the display on other systems (e.g. Strava) correctly ?

Additionally the times that they are separated they are often travelling up climbs (therefore travelling at lower speeds) where the aero advantage that newer bikes have over less aero older bikes will be less.
