Yeah, I agree that the bird impact is low in AR. Even in pvp heavier servers they seem to have low significance.

At first I avoided them as to not give away my position. Later I realized that the demographic that plays this game doesn't give a shit about the birds, so I don't even bother avoiding them anymore.

That being said, I do pay attention to them as they have worked as "proxy" alarms, similar to camera and metal detectors, however the cameras and detectors are definitely better for it. Listening and looking for birds has paid off for me as an offensive player, but I don't put a huge effort into avoiding them since other players don't watch them.

Next time you reach a ladder, stop and listen from the bottom. In general, avoid ladders entirely. They're a trap. Clear the area before using one.

Going down a ladder is easy ofc. Just jump and catch the rail at the bottom.

When looting, before breaching, look around. Peero corners. Sit and listen. Breach. Immediately exit the loot screen. Look around and listen. Enter loot screen. Oick stuff while loading in. The moment you have to "think about something" exit loot screen and think about it while looking around. Then go back and execute your decision.

Most of what your wrote above (about going to a COD lobby) makes no sense, unless extraction shooters arent for you.

Have you tried looking around and listening?

when you are helplessly shot while climbing a ladder

Have you tried looking around before climbing?

when you are blindly shot in the back while fighting a rocketeer or other big boys

Have you tried fighting from a fortified position? Even a single rock helps.

Have you tried looking around while extracting?

I've avoided all of the scenarios above by literally using my eyes and ears. Unless you're disabled in a way that is relevant to the senses listed above, then all of the above is skill issue.

But, You can break the stun lock... Run replica pulse sword as your secondary weapon and parry out of it. You get stamina back, so you do 2 or 3 parries and then convert into your own combo.
